We take you to the second part of our Hotel Cecil coverage and this part is even scarier then the first part! You don't want to miss this continuation of the Hotel Cecil and the scary stories that surround it. The main one being the Elisa Lam story. Have you head it before? Well, either way, you'll want to listen to this story again... or for the first time.

Lisa tells us all of the surrounding stories that follow Elisa as she found herself in the Hotel Cecil, or more specifically, Stay on Main, which we now know is the same. Davis gives us even more one-star reviews of various haunted hotels. So many ghosts are making this hard for hotels to stay in business sometimes. And Jake goes through the various conspiracies, like Tuberculosis, various serial killers, and maybe even possession?

TPPP 120: Hotel Cecil Part 1 | Serial Killers, Ghosts at All Hours, and More Scary Things than any Other Hotel

If you live in the paranormal world, you've probably heard of the Hotel Cecil. If you haven't, be prepared to have your socks absolutely blown off your feet, because this place is beyond haunted. Have you ever heard of a vortex? Because this place is one of those, but on steroids. We also couldn't fit everything necessary about this place into one episode, so we will have a second one next week about more of this hotel.

Listen to Lisa as she dives into some of the scariest facts about this place that absolutely make you lose some faith in humanity. This includes facts about Skid Row, the hotel itself, and its attempted rebrand to Stay on the Main that didn't go very well. Then, listen to Davis as he gets very scared about this, then gives Jake and Lisa some one place reviews. Finally, listen to Jake as he delves into many of the confirmed deaths in this place. There are so many, that the death reports had to create a new box just for the Hotel Cecil.

There is a major trigger warning for this episode and all the scary things that are coming your way. It really does deal with a lot, from suicide to mental health disorders to murder. So be wary as you listen to the 120th episode of The Possibly Paranormal Podcast. And be sure to show up again next week for the continuation of this story.

Israel Keyes + The Cecil Hotel

Israel Keyes + The Cecil Hotel

Welcome to the tenth episode of Wild Society!

This week’s case features the serial killer Israel Keyes. After using one of his victims’ debit cards around the country, Keyes was tracked down, arrested, and indicted for the murder of 18 year old Samantha Koenig. Keyes would confess to four murders but the FBI believes he had a total of eleven victims, based on the blood drawings they found in his jail cell.

In part two, we learn that nestled amongst the crowded streets of downtown Los Angeles lies one of the most famous hotels in the country… The Cecil Hotel. While one might think its famous for its glorious art deco architecture from the 1920s, or its early popularity amongst celebrities of the golden age of Hollywood, it is in fact known by most for its dark history of violence, murder, and suicide.
