    Dr. Kortni Alston (@DrKortniAlston) - How To Be Happy And Do Meaningful Work

    Dr. Kortni Alston is a Happiness Scholar, TEDx speaker, and Transformational Leader. Her area of research is interdisciplinary combining the areas of positive psychology, business administration and mass communication. Her research concentrations value happier workplaces, well-being, and meaningful work. 

    She is the co-host of the Thriving in Toxicity. The podcast helps individuals thrive in the workplace and life. Dr. Alston is the founder of the Kourting Happiness Movement, which is a community committed to understanding how to cultivate a positive life at work and home. She is an assistant professor at North Carolina A&T State University’s Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. She has worked as a News Director, Television Reporter, and Public Relations executive. Dr. Alston has a Ph.D. from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communication and an MBA from Morgan State University.
