    77. How to Turn Everyday Ideas into a $1.2M Business

The booking site Captain Experiences launched in March 2020 with the mission of quickly and easily connecting customers with fishing trips and other outdoor adventures. They’ve since booked more than 50,000 hours of fun, thanks in big part to their success finding unique solutions to their customers’ problems.

Founder Jonathan Newar didn’t know how to start a business before he launched Captain Experiences. He was inspired to start his business after struggling to book a fishing trip for his team at his previous job. After doing some research, he learned he wasn’t the only one eager for a better way to find guides and book outdoor experiences, and started Captain Experiences to fill that void in the market.

Starting any business can be a challenge, and especially so when you’re aiming to provide a new service. In this interview, Jonathan shares his early struggles with the business and how he overcame them. You’ll also hear his advice for how to grow a business as an online platform, including how they connect with guides and customers, how they manage their leads and workflow, and what keeps customers coming back to Captain Experiences trip after trip.

    84. The X Factor To Increasing The Longevity Of Your Business Regardless Of Industry Or Market Most Founders Forget.

    84. The X Factor To Increasing The Longevity Of Your Business Regardless Of Industry Or Market Most Founders Forget.

    Adaptability = Survivability = Sustainability.

The numbers have always reinforced that the longer you are able to stay in business during certain milestones, the higher the percentage you will be successful in business. No surprise that the longevity of a business's existence runs parallel with the growth and success of that business. But most emerging businesses need to think long-term and work backwards to reengineer their approach for the short-term.

Passion. Obsession. Immediate Action. All great and necessary intangibles to get off the ground and liftoff. But certainly, charting out a path to the moon and beyond even before the rocketship is funded and built is part of the process if you want to break through the atmosphere in a mighty way.

With the rise of AI/ML, as shown through the fast-adopting movement with Chat-GPT as well as this constantly changing and ever-evolving business/marketing landscape that is impacting both legacy and emerging brands, it is getting more difficult to know which way to go, how to fortify, and how to scale your business long-term.

The secret to the longevity of a business, from brand allegiance and authority to maintaining high-level demand upstream and downstream to even being recession-proof, is all dependent on this one X Factor most business leaders easily forget. This episode dives in and talks about it!

    64. Small Business Growth: How to Make the Leap to 7 Figures (And Beyond)

Starting your own business is an exciting achievement, but for most entrepreneurs, that’s just the first step. Knowing how to grow your business to reach your revenue goals is another challenge, and that’s where Evolve to Grow’s expertise can be a game changer.

Tristan Wright started Evolve to Grow in 2017 with the goal of giving business owners more time and freedom, along with insights on how to grow a business to its full potential. Tristan didn’t set out to be a business coach. He started on the other side, launching a cycling wear business after quitting his career as an engineer. His early struggles with that business inspired him to start Evolve to Grow to teach other entrepreneurs how to grow a small business the right way.

Whether you’re a current business owner or an entrepreneur who wants to start your first venture, Tristan’s insights can help you make the leap to 7 figures with sustainable, long-term growth strategies.

How Sales Rap Took Over SaaS feat. Ding "The Sales Rapper" Zheng, Founder of SalesRap.io

10 years ago Ding left a comment on a youtube video of mine.

Little did we know... we would meet again in SaaS with newfound skills and common goals of starting our own creative agencies. Ding Zheng, founder of SalesRap.io and EventShark.io took his skills as a hip-hop artist, the art of freestyling, and content creation and embarked on uncharted waters - helping B2B SaaS companies stand out and book more deals with rap. To this date, SalesRap.io has made him well over 6 figures! His newest venture in the event space is also a culmination of all the skills he's perfected as one of the biggest disrupters in B2B and he's coming to a city near you. I'm honored to call this guy a friend and business partner. Get ready for one of the most interesting Lowly SDR interviews yet!

    70. Warning: This Is Why Your Business Isn't Where You Want It To Be (And How You Can Fix It) Starting With Having Clarity!

A confused mind will never buy. To be real, if you aren't getting the attention, the engagement, the conversations, and ultimately the sales you want, it's because of either two things: 1) you're talking to the wrong audience or 2) what you're saying doesn't make sense to anyone, and therefore no one sees your value will not and buy your product or service.

The biggest reason you're not getting where you want to go, making the money you want to make is because you aren't being clear enough about who you serve, what it is that you do, what marketing tactics you need to do, your sales techniques you need to implement, and your brand messaging. You may think you are speaking in a language your ICP can understand and see the value of your MVP. But let's keep it real, if that were the case, you'd be making the money and success you wanted by now.

This episode is not meant to hurt but to provide tough love and challenge you to look at every part of your business differently in order for you to grow to the level you want starting right now.
