(Self-Care Wednesday) 5 steps on How to not Stay Upset About Anything
CLP Episode 22
So your big mad huh really no really, your really that upset or is it deeper than that. Anger is a natural emotional response to being hurt or wronged by someone else. That's why it's important for us to work through it when it arises. It can even help us to better assess ourselves and the situation that prompted it. Unfortunately, some people hold on to anger for longer than they need to instead of processing it and learning from it.
When you remain angry at someone, Let’s keep it 100 you're only hurting yourself. Anger is tied to a number of health issues that can harm you over time if anger is left unresolved. In addition to these risks, staying angry doesn't resolve anything. It doesn't impact the other person, nor does it change anything. The only person being affected by the anger is you!
So in this episode, I share about my struggles in a very personal episode for #clpselfcarewednesdays the ✔️5 steps on how to not stay upset about anything.
