On today’s podcast we have the wonderfully humorous Dave Hughes. Hughesy is a stand-up comedian, television presenter, having for example co-hosted on The Project for 5 years, presented his own show Hughesy We Have a Problem, and more recently was one of the judges on The Masked Singer, and, he is also a radio presenter having made up one-half of the of Melbourne’s Nova Breakfast team for 12 years and more recently on Hughesy, Ed & Erin on 2DayFM.

What I personally love about this podcast is Hughesy’s somewhat surprising depth and vulnerability. And I say depth in the sense of, Hughesy is a comedian and his role is to assist in people having more laughter in their life; the take life not too seriously approach. But I was curious, what does Hughesy take seriously? And I was impressed; it was mindset. Hughesy is a passionate advocate about taking responsibility for your thoughts; to live in the present and let go of the past. To be driven by your passion, not by external validation; to understand you do not have to prove that you are worthy, and ensure in your pursuit of achievement you also focus on your loved ones. We also have an intimate conversation about the vulnerability around saying I love you, and in true Hughesy spirit we have a laugh about the absolute ridiculousness of it.
