छत्तीसगढ़ के मनेंद्रगढ़ जिले के चिरमिरी में एक नर्स के साथ 4 लोगों के कथित तौर पर गैंगरेप करने का मामला सामने आया है. आरोपियों में एक नाबालिग भी शामिल है. आरोपियों ने रेप करते हुए मोबाइल से वीडियो भी बनाया. इसके साथ ही पीड़िता को धमकी दी कि अगर उसने इस बारे में पुलिस को बताया तो उसे जान से मार देंगे.

A group of activists staged a demonstration on Sunday to oppose the construction of a Metro car shed in Mumbai’s Aarey Colony and shouted slogans against the Maharashtra government’s decision to go ahead with the project. 

"सुप्रीम कोर्ट में बिलकिस बानो रेप के आरोपियों की रिहाई के खिलाफ गुरुवार को सुनवाई की गई। CJI एनवी रमना के सामने दोषियों के वकील ने जब यह दलील दी कि हम इस मामले में पार्टी नहीं हैं। याचिका हमारे खिलाफ लगाई गई। इस पर CJI रमना ने सवाल किया कि इन्हें पार्टी क्यों नहीं बनाया गया। अदालत ने इन लोगों को भी पार्टी बनाने का निर्देश दिया। कोर्ट ने दोषियों की रिहाई को लेकर गुजरात सरकार को नोटिस भेजा है। मामले की सुनवाई दो हफ्ते बाद की जाएगी।" 

हैदराबाद में मंगलवार को पैगंबर मोहम्मद पर आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी करने वाले भाजपा विधायक टी राजा सिंह को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। इसके बाद भाजपा ने भी गोशामहल से MLA टी राजा को पार्टी से निलंबित कर दिया। टी राजा ने एक वीडियो जारी कर पैगंबर मोहम्मद के लिए आपत्तिजनक शब्दों का इस्तेमाल किया था। बाद में उन्होंने इसे मजाक बताया था। बयान के बाद बड़ी संख्या में लोग उनके विरोध में सड़कों पर उतरे थे। 

बिलकिस बानो मामले में दोषियों को रिहा करने के गुजरात सरकार के आदेश को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी गई है। इस याचिका में सभी दोषियों की सजा पर फिर से विचार करने की गुहार लगाई गई है। वहीं मुख्य न्यायाधीश एन वी रमना की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ ने मामले में दोषियों की रिहाई को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका के संबंध में वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता कपिल सिब्बल और वकील अपर्णा भट की दलीलों पर ध्यान दिया। इसके बाद अदालत याचिका को सूचीबद्ध करने पर विचार करने पर सहमत हो गई। बता दें कि गोधरा कांड के बाद गुजरात में दंगे भड़क गए थे और इसी दंगे के दौरान बिलकिस बानों के परिवार के सात सदस्यों की हत्या कर दी गई थी। इतना ही नहीं दंगाइयों ने बिलकिस बानो के साथ सामूहिक दुष्कर्म भी किया था।
