This is a follow up episode in which Phil and Jason expand on the discussion about sales from episode 51. They bring up topics like the high level of knowledge customers possess when it comes to pricing equipment, how sales ought to carried out (the philosophy of sales), and what it's like being in the customer's shoes when a salesman comes knocking. These topics and more make episode 52 a great follow up on this important subject

On this episode, representatives of New Holland and Case IH talk new product rollouts at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. We also learn about Power EQ farm equipment inventory management and evaluation software. The episode also features the music of Lockeland, live from Hank Snow's Rainbow Ranch in Madison, Tennessee, presented by the Ernest Tubb Record Shop in Nashville.

This episode marks the beginning of a short series on the department of sales, with Phil and Jason Bane as the main contributors. Broadly speaking, this episode is about selling farm machinery, but the lessons here translate into any sales arena. 

It is great to have Tomas (Tyler Wilson) back for this episode, albeit he had to call in. Nonetheless, he and Matthew discuss double whammy of the Coronavirus and food shortage in China, new farm crime-prevention technology, and Tomas' thoughts on the Chiefs becoming national champions.

So we did. However, there's far more to discuss with the man behind the Twitter name than social media. Joe Mills is a local farmer who is thinking strategically about the market for organic farming and in 2015 dove head first into that world.
