God's personal brand has certainly taken a bad rap over the years because of the advent of impostors. The problem of course is not just the impostors.

Every impostor out there needs a gullible, ignorant, and lazy person to take advantage of. So God ends up being blamed over and over again for things being done to people in his name, but at the end of the day, it is the impostors who are responsible for this.
