Siempre sale bien grabar un viernes. Sobre todo, este viernes después de las semifinales del In-Season. Por lo que sea. Bueno, por Los Ángeles Lakers. Por lo rematadamente increíble que es ver a este LeBron James. Habiendo ganado todo lo que se puede ganar y batido todo récord que se puede batir, no hay nadie que demuestre como él lo que significa la grandeza, la competitividad, el sentido de este deporte, de la NBA y ahora del In-Season.  

Y todo esto tiene su contrapunto: quedan en muy mal lugar los Pelicans, el posible rol de estrella de Zion y la inestable confianza en Ingram. Indiana Pacers se tomó totalmente en serio el In-Season desde el primer día y lo está demostrando con creces: fuera Boston y fuera Milwaukee, que se queda con mucha gente señalada (Lillard más que nadie) y con los problemas al descubierto dentro y fuera de la pista. 

La final va a ser la historia perfecta: el jugador grandioso y la franquicia histórica jugará contra el joven mágico liderando un equipo prometedor. Es indudable que el formato a partido único es un éxito en el deporte y bien la NBA por integrarlo. Y cada vez cuesta menos pensar que Tyrese Haliburton y LeBron James deben estar en la carrera por los máximos logros de la temporada. El cierre de esta primera edición de la Copa NBA vuelve a enfrentar a Indiana, sin títulos en la NBA, contra el equipo que le ganó la única final que han jugado. Los Pacers del siglo pasado se chocaron con Jordan y los de este siglo con LeBron. Y es difícil que se le escape esto, aunque Indiana tenga todas las opciones.
