What Does The Bible Say About Being In Christ
Arnie and Fred discuss the two words, "in Christ" that we find throughout the New Testament. We discuss the fact that those two words tell us that in this life God will basically grant us a "do over". We talk about what it means not to be "in Christ" and the fact that there are eternal consequences for that condition. We then note the benefits that being "in Christ" are enjoyed. Finally, the discussion ends with how God tells us we can get "in Christ".
Naming Names In The LORD (Philippians 4:1-3)
As Paul begins to wrap up his letter, he offers some practical application regarding everything he's been teaching for three entire chapters. And it all centers on two prominent women having a high profile disagreement. Paul is willing to "name names", as in the McCarthy Communist hunts of the 40's and 50's, but Paul's purposes are much more sacred and uplifting... because they are carried out "in the Lord".
