Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein

Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein
It’s time for the little red chicken’s bedtime story — and a reminder from Papa to try not to interrupt. But the chicken can’t help herself! Whether the tale is Hansel and Gretel or Little Red Riding Hood or even Chicken Little, she jumps into the story to save its hapless characters. Now it’s the little red chicken’s turn to tell a story, but will her yawning papa make it to the end without his own kind of interrupting? The charming 2011 Caldecott Honor Book is available in paperback for the first time.

The Interrupting Chicken and the Elephant of Surprise Sequel by David Ezra Stein

The Interrupting Chicken and the Elephant of Surprise Sequel by David Ezra Stein
It’s homework time for the little red chicken, who has just learned about something every good story should have: an elephant of surprise. Or could it be an element of surprise (as her amused papa explains)? As they dive in to story after story, looking for the part that makes a reader say “Whoa! I didn’t know that was going to happen,” Papa is sure he can convince Chicken he’s right. After all, there are definitelyno elephants in “The Ugly Duckling,” “Rapunzel,” or “The Little Mermaid” — or are there? Elephant or element, something unexpected awaits Papa in every story, but a surprise may be in store for the little red chicken as well. Full of the same boisterous charm that made Interrupting Chicken so beloved by readers, this gleeful follow-up is sure to delight fans of stories, surprises, and elephants alike.

    1st Presidential Debate Highlights 2020

    1st Presidential Debate Highlights 2020
In this special 1 Hour episode we start off with breaking news of President Trump testing positive with the Coronavirus (Covid-19). Then, the rest of the show we analyze the Presidential 2020 Debate -with all of the highlights. With the constant interrupting each other during the debate, President Trump and Joe Biden (D) hit a lot of great points. However, as you will see- we have a lot of audio clips from the debate that has disrupted the nation, in the fact that many answers (of the status of the country and what to improve), were left unanswered by both candidates. -Thank you for listening!-

    2020 unbelievably bizarre year.

Fact or Crap: Two for Pat, one for John and none for Dan.

Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court judge.

    Roe v Wade.

Harry Reid used the nuclear option.

The worst debate in the history of debates.

Interrupting, untruths, bullying and childish behavior in general.

It appears maybe John went to the Trump School of Debate. Sorry about that.

We'll be off next week, back in 2 weeks.

When you're trying to have an adult conversation for longer than 30 seconds or concentrate on a project, it can get pretty frustrating to have a little person constantly interrupting you.

In this episode, we dive into the reasons why the interruptions are happening and also give some strategies to help manage them. (Hint: it's all about the Montessori grace and courtesy lessons!)
