St. Patrick's Day Beer, Legends, and Lore

It's almost time for us all to turn Irish for a day.

St. Patrick's Day.  Another great holiday for Americans to kick back some beers.  I'm not arguing, it's a great excuse to grab some nitro stouts and red ales.

In keeping with tradition, we share some of the legends and history of St. Patrick and St. Patrick's Day while cracking into a few brews.  There's talk of breakfast beverage booze, and where the hype went for craft beer.

    In our glass this week

    • The classic St. Patrick's Day beer - Guinness, along with...
    • Smithwicks
    • Harp
    • Left Hand Dry Irish Stout (Nitro)
    • Sullivan’s Irish Ale (Red) and Irish Gold

Beer Sessions Vol X - The Red Ale

Tam joins us with snipets from his 15-pint drinking session and our resident beer "when it comes to red ales I'm definitely not an expert" expert Oisin.
