Joe Leary - Mr. Vancouver the Voice of the City
On the podcast I spoke with Joe about his early days as a Dj and his venture in to the broadcast and radio business. He shares a ton of interesting stories and anecdotes that makes this episode very entertaining. We got into how music and radio has changed to how live music has been impacted in Vancouver. He got into some politics and had some honest views on how he sees things, which was bold and refreshing.
Episode 43: A Real Big Man's Sport and Conning the Pope
This week we discuss Zlatan and Farah fighting, Hales's drugs and Neymar's rudeness. We also discuss Leeds being naughty, some boring named snooker players and Damian Lillard's amazing game winner. The we round it out with a treatise on Real Tennis, games about the marathon, a shirtless Tongan, and a cricket player who's not gay. Why is that news? Listen in to find out.
Support the showEpisode 17 - Atomic Blonde Discussion
Scott and Oliver are BACK for another terrific episode of Ignorance Is This. In this one, our heroes find themselves seeing the new David Leitch flick 'Atomic Blonde'. Scott saw the promo material, Oliver went in blind. Who had the better time?
Also in this episode: A LONG discussion on whether movies get better or worse with subsequent viewings. Can you truly say a movie is one of your favourites if you've only seen it once?
And as always we cap off the episode with a few fun segments. This time: Pet Peeves & The Fruit is Acute.
