Here's another episode of the 11-year running classic and obscure dance music program, the Rare Radio Show that i co-founded and hosted throughout the years since 1999. This was a 10-hour special, and this is my opening set from that show. Straight classic NYC underground club music for the dance floor jones. I have the recording from last New Years Day 2011 when i filled in for her as well, but here's last nights New Year's Eve set on WBAI-FM in NYC. If you're not familar with Jeannie Hopper, she's been a staple on NYC radio with consistent underground, eclectic music mixes and very pertinent community information. Not too mention the fabulous boat parties and other functions she's affiliated with. It's always an honor when she contacts me to fill in on her show.
