EP:14 | Managing Foxworthy Farms with Glenn Garner & Surprise Guest Jeff Foxworthy

EP:14 | Managing Foxworthy Farms with Glenn Garner & Surprise Guest Jeff Foxworthy

On episode 14 of the GameKeeper Podcast, the crew discusses whitetails with world class Gamekeeper Glenn Garner, the manager of Foxworthy Farms, and we also get a surprise visit from our favorite Gamekeeper and legendary comedian, Jeff Foxworthy. Glenn and Jeff tell their secrets on creating ideal whitetail habitat and their strategies on harvesting giant bucks, including Jeff’s secret to staying calm. Although creating cover, planting food plots, and knowing what days to hunt are all key, they contribute the bulk of their success to having the common goal of leaving the land a better place than when they found it. We also invite Bill Gibson, Mossy Oak Kennels Master Trainer (AKA the dog whisperer) to the studio. Bill tells us the story of how the kennel started and demonstrates his patented growl that all the dogs respond to. Dudley answers the question: Is it the white oaks or red oaks that don’t drop their acorns every year, or do they both drop every year?

Episode 104 - The Foxworthy Conundrum

Episode 104 - The Foxworthy Conundrum

The SEC returned this weekend and your Sports Lordz return once again with a new episode! This week we open the show by turning it into a “chipcast” and talk a lot about chips as we answer the Foxworthy Conundrum. Then we shift to the majors as the playoffs are here for Major League Baseball. We take a look at all the first-round matchups and express our very ingrained and appropriate dread for what is to come once our beloved Bravos open the playoffs. Then we shift our attention to the return of the SEC in college football! Diego is pessimistically happy after his beloved Vols get their first win, LSU struggles after their dream season as they get overwhelmed by Mississippi State, Jimmy breaks down his Dawgs opening day victory, and we whip around the rest of the SEC and college football landscape. We also talk about Trump “The Football Guy’s” commercial claiming to save football and figure out if he really did (HE DIDN’T). We of course address the embarrassing and idiotic Falcons blowing yet another 4th quarter lead and essentially quit on them. It’s just too stupid and too much. We then wrap up the show by discussing the upcoming NBA Finals and the weird Joe Montana baby theft story. Remember to stay safe and keep wearing masks as Covid-19 is real and on the rise. Also don’t forget to send us your Foxworthy Conundrum answers on twitter and stay alive.

Today’s episode is brought to you by The Pube Plow 2000! Laser pube trimming is not just for George Jetson anymore! This episode is also brought to you by Golden Flake, the official chip of the SEC.
