Back from Gen Con and a brief respite, Brent and Shiraz share their Gen Con experience. Their first Gen Con since the pandemic, our hosts talk about the state of the industry, meeting new people, and trying out new games. In particular, Shiraz discusses (finally) picking up the RIFTS RPG and meeting its creator, Kevin Siembieda. Also Shiraz meets comics writer Jim Zub, and Forgotten Realms creator Ed Greenwood.

In the history of science fiction, aliens have gotten better and even fairer representation than Indigenous people. Now Marvel launched a new Inuk character called Snowguard. She's a teen from Pangnirtung who's ready for a new lifelong adventure. Jim Zub collaborated with Nyla Innuksuk to create Snow Guard and give an accurate representation of young, modern Inuk woman.
