Fun Fact
Another Japanese anime to consider watching is Your Lie In April. It is about Kōsei Arima, a child prodigy who became famous after winning a major piano competition. However, he lost his ability to play following his mother’s passing. The story focuses on his friendship with Kaori Miyazono, who encourages Kōsei to return to the musical world and reignite his passion for playing.

Die Operette „Eine Nacht in der Venedig“ von Johann Strauß ist eine Verkleidungs- und Verwechslungskomödie mit vielen Liebesverwirrungen. Intendant Professor Wilhelm Schupp spielt selbst den Senator von Venedig. Delacqua. Vorstellungen an den Wochenenden bis Samstag, 2. August 2014, jeweils um 19:30 Uhr. Am 6. August ist um 19:30 Uhr im Gästezentrum in Bad Hall ein Konzert mit Prof. Hildegard Kugler und Georgina Szeless.

Sonntag, 1. Dezember 2013, LIBRETTO, Donnerstag, 5. Dezember 2013, Radio für Senioren, Gesprächspartner von Walter Ziehlinger sind Sonja Gornik (Rosalinde), Matthäus Schmidlechner (Eisenstein) und Regisseurin Adriana Altaras. Als das Musiktheater noch eine Baustelle war, war es schon auf den Wänden des Info-Pavillons im Volksgarten zu lesen, dass es im neuen Musiktheater auch eine neue „Fledermaus“ geben wird. Die Premiere ist am Samstag, 14. Dezember 2013. Das Publikumsinteresse ist schon jetzt sehr groß, auch für die Silvester-Vorstellung. Daher bald Karten sichern!

This is my first recording of any kind of work of Strauss and is a famous polka. This music has been transcribed for various groups and instruments as it is a popular and fun-loving tune. The work was composed in 1858 and is a fun one to play. The recording was made at my home on my studio upright.
