3rd Step to Let God Restore the Wasted Years of Your Life (3 of 3)

3rd Step to Let God Restore the Wasted Years of Your Life (3 of 3)

Loving people with God’s love is the third step to let God restore the wasted years of your life. Our brokenness is healed as we serve others – loving them with the love God gives us. Serving others gets our minds off ourselves (and the pain of our past). It keeps our minds in the present and. Serving others gives us the attitude of Jesus who came to serve all mankind. God restores   meaning and purpose in our lives as we receive His assignments to love others. We will find the things we lost - the love, friendships, joy, and peaceful satisfaction of a life lived for God as we “show love.”

This video begins with a story  (an allegory) about what happens in the spirit realm to bring a lost person (Gina) into God’s Kingdom. Someone has to pray, to share the gospel with her, and to love her with God’s love which will bring her to repentance. God need you and I to rescue people from Satan’s prison.

The 3rd Step to Let God Restore the Wasted Years of Your life is “Show Love.”
This is the 4th video in the series: “Let God Restore the Wasted years of Your Life”

The 3 steps to let God restore the wasted years of your life are practical steps you can take every day:

**1st Step Know God/ Know Love

Key: Your Daily Desire and Pursuit of God is what Empowers Your Restoration.
God wants you to passionately seek and find Him every day. He wants you to experience His love day after day.

    Jeremiah 29:13–14 NKJV
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord…

**2nd Step Grow like God/Grow Love
We grow love (Grow like Christ) by being loved by God’s people and letting them help us remove our grave clothes (the things from the past that still have us bound, like Lazarus’ grave clothes). See John 11.

And we grow love by letting God transform us through the Romans 12 process in the Bible. As we renew our minds with God’s Word, he changes us into new people by changing the way we think.

    Romans 12:2 NLT
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

    **3rd Step Show God/Show Love

Jesus paid the price to free every person from Satan’s prison of sin, self, and death. But there is a human price for every person set free.

First, Captives must be  freed by prayer to remove the chains of Satanic deception, self-ishness, and sin that are holding them captive.

    2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT

The thoughts that keep people from seeing the truth are strongholds in their minds. They are lies that have become our core beliefs. They strongly hold on to these lies because they believe they are true. If we pray, God will tear down these strongholds.

     2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NLT

2nd Someone has to share the gospel truth which will set them free.

Romans 10:14 CEV,  John 8:32 NIV
*And 3rd someone has to love that person with God’s love to soften their hard hearts so they can receive the seeds of the Gospel which will set them free.

    1 John 4:19 NKJV
We love Him because He first loved us.

My prayer is that you will have the joy of living a life of service and adventure with Jesus. And, when your time on earth is over, may you hear the words, “Well done Good and faithful servant,” as Jesus wraps his arms around you. You have been restored.

Do the Activation at the end.

    Lazarus: Sick, Dead, Alive

    Lazarus: Sick, Dead, Alive

    Dear Listeners,

Certain situations trouble us to the core, launching us into a place of struggle. We know God's Word is true ... but do we really believe the Bible applies to our circumstances? Filled with questions, doubts, and fears, we waffle back and forth. Peace eludes us. What do we do when it is hard to believe?

Today's episode, "Lazarus: Sick, Dead, Alive," covers this topic and more.

May God increase your faith and mine, teaching us from Lazarus's sickness, death, and life as recorded in John 11.

    In Christ’s Love,
    Emily💕

    Then Jesus Wept

    Then Jesus Wept

Today we are going to talk about a slice of the story of the raising of Lazarus from John 11:30-35. Somehow we believe that God leaves us in tragedy and pain, like God is squeamish. Today we are going to see how God feels about death.

The music on the podcast is from John Nugent. John is a Chicagoland area musician who has been a real blessing to Tabor Church.

The Resurrection Rage | A Sermon on John 11:1-12:11 | Chad Harms
"You can give yourself to Jesus and gain everything or hate Jesus because he will cost you something." Today most people are indifferent to Jesus. When he walked the earth it wasn't this way. Some devoted their lives to following him; some devoted their lives to killing him. Jesus said and did things that polarized people. How to Not Die

    How to Not Die

In this episode I explore death in the context of the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. This is a symbolic story that looks at how three people – Mary, Martha, and Jesus respond to death. It culminates in Jesus statement: I am the resurrection and the life. This statement points to the reality that death is conquered now in the realization that one’s true nature does not die. Resurrection is another term for spiritual awakening.

Walking in the Word: Trust Me - Audio

Walking in the Word: Trust Me - Audio
How easy is it for you to trust God? Easy when things are good and hard when life is difficult. This season is a good testing of your trust and faith. Today I want to take a longer look at a text I briefly talked about last Sunday and wrestle with the implications. Today’s text will stretch you, confront you and call you to a greater level of trust in our SAVIOR. A call to follow Jesus is a call to surrender and trust.
