We've had some time to Bulk Up and also to Focus Energy. Now the time has come to Detect the moment for a Submission. Cianwood City Gym Leader, Chuck, has no Counter for our Dynamic Punch! Regardless of our Superpower, it'll be a Close Combat. Tune in!

This week we Lick the leader of the Ecruteak City Gym, who didn't stand a Ghost of a chance. I'm sure he'll Curse our name and cast a Mean Look in our direction after the Nightmare we put him through. In the Confusion, I forgot to mention his team, but they were Not Very Effective, and therefore, failed their Pursuit.

Time to Pick Up where we left off and show off our Big Pecks with this Submission. We Hammer Arm the Goldenrod City Gym Leader this week as our Struggle continues through the Johto Region! Prepare your Milk Drink and tune in!

The Signal Beam has gone out, come check out what the Bug Buzz is all about! We Lunge at our opponent hoping to Leech Life from him, but after his Attack Order, the First Impression has been made. Quiver, Dance, Fly it won't matter, we'll Beat Up this Bug bearing buster till he's bruised and bleating for the bashing to break.

Parhaimmat organisaatiot ovat myös sellaisia, joissa ihmiset ymmärtävät, ettei tietty rooli määritä heitä. Kaikilla työntekijöillä on oikeus ja lupa kokeilla erilaisia asioita. Podcastissamme Deloitten toimitusjohtaja Lari Hintsanen ja ex-talousjohtaja, nykyinen hallitusammattilainen ja Directors’ Insitute Finlandin puheenjohtaja, Kim Ignatius keskustelevat siitä, miten yrityksen hallitus voi omalla toiminnallaan tukea ja varmistaa, että yrityksellä on riskienhallinnan lisäksi kykyä uudistua kuhunkin tilanteeseen vaatimalla tavalla.

Hallitustyö on muuttunut aiempaa nopeasyklisemmäksi ja tilanteet elävät koko ajan. Myös kriisit tuovat uusia piirteitä hallitustyöskentelyyn. Jatkuva kommunikaatio hallitusten jäsenten välillä on lisääntynyt muutosvauhdin kasvaessa erityisesti organisaatioissa, joissa muutokset tapahtuvat yleensäkin nopeasti.

Viime ajat muistuttavat meitä siitä, että mitä tahansa voi tapahtua. Hallituksen ja sen jäsenten tulee olla valmiita siihen, että tilanteet voivat muuttua nopeastikin.

Mitä hallitustyöskentelyssä pitäisi painottaa? Ainakin hallituksen tulee pyrkiä varmistamaan, että organisaatiolla on oikeat resurssit ja prosessit paikallaan, ja että asiat hoidetaan oikein. Lisäksi hallituksella on mahdollisuus suunnata ja ohjata keskustelua sinne, minne johto ei välttämättä sitä veisi.  

Auttaako diversiteetin kasvattaminen auttaa tekemään parempia päätöksiä? Entä millainen on polku kohti hallitusammattilaisuutta?

Vihreä siirtymä vaikuttaa kiistatta yritysten kilpailukykyyn tulevaisuudessa ja on nostanut ESG:n yritysjohdon palkitsemisen kärkiteemaksi.  

Deloitte on tutkinut pohjoismaisten yhtiöiden palkitsemista ja palkitsemisraportointia laajasti vuoden 2022 aikana toteutetussa vertailututkimuksessa. Missä palkitsemisen vastuullisuusvaateissa mennään tällä hetkellä? Entä löytyikö Pohjoismaiden välillä merkittäviä eroja ESG-tavoitteiden toteuttamisessa?
