Facebook & Google have their Apple enterprise certificates revoked, which means we can chat about how much we dislike them again! We discuss the issues relating to how Apple handled the FaceTime privacy bug, and Andrew shares his experience editing podcasts on the iPad Pro using Ferrite and an Apple Pencil.

Star Trek Discovery Season 2 discussions lead us down a violence-based rabbit hole, Andrew finally receives his new corner desk extension and we discuss how we like our workspaces.

Jordan gets some new books and needs a place to contain them, Andrew has a bunch of new fountain pens with one very special item and Julian gets a cover for his Hobonichi Weeks.

As Andrew asks Julian to buy another fountain pen, we follow up on stationery and discuss how Jordan is getting on with the analogue world again. We’ve all been reading more books recently, and have things we are looking forward to in 2019! Oh, we also ended up talking about desks, charging and of course, Julian brought up OneNote.

Jordan is back from his travels, and after follow up we discuss the changes Jordan is making in his stationery and digital life, alongside our issues with digital notes organisation. Andrew makes a special purchase and digs in to the fountain pen world, then discusses his new 11” iPad Pro, how he’s set it up and his general thoughts and review on the device and it’s accessories.

Brad Dowdy, The Pen Addict, joins us as our very first guest on Mavis to talk all about the world of stationery! After catching up with who Brad is and what Brad does, we talk Jetstreams and “standard pens”, getting in to fountain pens, productivity in paper and overall talk about a bunch of great pens, pencils and paper! Special Guest: Brad Dowdy.

After a break, we have some catching up to do! We discuss Apple’s September event, Surface’s October event and the new MacBook Air’s, Mac Mini’s and the long awaited iPad Pro’s from Apple’s October Event! Julian has a new Surface Go device and found his iPhone to be helpful for staying in touch with work-things. Lastly, we discuss designing software with a colour-filter active, Andrew rages at Teams and the upcoming Apple & Surface events!

In the news of Atlassian folding HipChat customers in to Slack, we complain about how Slack isn’t responsive and how Microsoft Teams’ notifications aren’t native yet, again. Following Andrews recent investment in his office we discuss how we like our workspaces to be, what we need and like including lighting conditions, the arm-status of chairs, the troubles of charging and so much much more.
