He says there are a range of cost effective projects that should be advanced, rather than light rail.

Green Party Candidate Julie Anne Genter wants it prioritised.

She says it will enable a lot more housing.

Labour Party Candidate Fleur Fitzsimons wants Let's Get Wellington Moving accelerated.

She says they will bring the second Mount Victoria Tunnel and mass rapid transit projects forward.

Wellington woman Philippa Thompson Ng flew off her bike after colliding with a car outside Wellington Hospital.

On the day of the incident, the controversial Newtown cycleway was closed.

She says had it been open, the incident may never have happened.
