Sultanbeylide "Evrim teorisi nedir?" diye sorarsanız sokakta dayak bile yiyebilirisiniz. Ataşehirde sorarsanız, “Darwini diyorsun - İşte maymunla ortak atadan geldik” diye bir yanıt alabilirsiniz. Tam tanımı veren pek yok. Herkes biraz ucundan biliyor. 

Ben, size bu bölümü dinledikten sonra kafanızda net bir evrim teorisi fikri oluşturmayı vaat ediyorum. Vaadim bu. Umarım başarırım. 

Meet two amazing people, Vicki Kiely and Daniel Villota of Unchained Elephants. They are on a mission to save elephants from a life of suffering and pain, and right now, they are seeking our help to save a bull elephant called Kanun, who is in great pain and suffering. When he is saved, he will be moved to a sanctuary in the North of Thailand, where he will enjoy a well-deserved retirement. 

Since recording this podcast, we’ve heard that the “price” has been reduced to $19,500 USD. This means being able to free Kanun is even closer, especially as one of the donors, Karl, has generously agreed to match any donations up to $5,000 USD. So, any donations you make will have an even greater impact! 

And time is of the essence. Kanun is experiencing serious health issues, including blindness in the left eye, a possible cataract in the right eye, scar tissue on the front ankle, severely overgrown nails causing potential pain, a lump in his trunk, multiple scars across his body, and he is underfed because he can’t work. When Vicki and Daniel saw the state Kanun was in physically, it really reinforced to both how urgent it was to rescue him from his current situation.
