AL FRESCO EDITION @ THE RAVELERS' FOURTH OF JULY MEMORIAL PARK CONCERT - part 2

AL FRESCO EDITION @ THE RAVELERS' FOURTH OF JULY MEMORIAL PARK CONCERT - part 2

As the afternoon cooled off and the Ravelers' music kept getting hotter and keeping the crowd energized, my luck held with three more random and extemporaneous conversations that turned out, as you'll hear, to have a common theme;  how much people like and appreciate Claremont and thoroughly enjoyed the day's festivities.  Each guest, in their own words, was quite effusive about the quality of the program for the day - the parade, the booths, the concert, the food...even not bemoaning the cancellation of the fireworks too much...as the Ravelers seemed to light up the area just as well, in their own inimitable way - with much less fire risk.

    • Sophie and Brock discuss their attraction to the concert, their careers and ambitions, and some very clever business ideas.
    • Danny recounts his reasons for living in Claremont, his appreciation for the businesses, restaurants and culture of the city, and their somewhat forgiving enforcement of the "No Dog" policy.
    • Sue reviews the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast and Evening Barbecue, describes how Claremont was her first choice for Independence Day activities and worth the drive from Alta Loma, and how attending nearly all the Claremont's functions by staying the whole day was absolutely a day well spent.

Enjoy Part 2 of these interviews.  Apologies for some what diminished audio quality, but tuning out a rock concert in the background sometimes leaves a mark.  Maybe next year we'll do THX or Dolby...or not.

    S2:E2 Time to Shine

    S2:E2 Time to Shine

Shine Season is a dedicated time to give back to the communities that we live and work in. From June through September, our network has the opportunity to find time to fundraise, bring awareness to a cause or simply give back to their charity of choice with their fellow franchisees. For the Driven Brands Collision Group, that Charity of Choice is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Today's guests have taken the philanthropic and charitable approach to the way they run their everyday business. Tune in to hear their stories and why they work so hard to give back to the communities that serve them.

Thank you to all our guests and host in this month's episode.
