God Knew You Before You Were Born

God Knew You Before You Were Born

    Today’s Promise: Jeremiah 1:5

God knows you. He knows all about you. In fact, there is nothing hidden from Him. He knows the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Before you ever took your first breath, God knew you. He knew how tall or short you would be, the color of your eyes, hair, and skin, plus a thousand other details. You are not a genetic accident; you were created by God the Father.

He not only knew you, but He formed you for His purpose.

He made you for His purpose and called you to fulfill that purpose in Him.

Ep. 84: What is a Lie? With Raymond Aaron

Ep. 84: What is a Lie? With Raymond Aaron

You might think a lie is a statement. That's not true. But that's really not sufficient. Because if a little kid says, "Mom, did you know that the moon is made of blue cheese?" Well, that's hardly a lie. And yet, it's something that's not true. Today Raymond gives his definition of a lie - it is a statement that's true or false. This is the definition of a lie, a statement that is true or false, that is intended to hurt, intended to injure. Here we talk about the three levels of misrepresentation: fraudulent, negligent, and innocent.

Raymond Aaron has shared his vision and wisdom on radio and television programs for over 40 years. He is the author of 10 best-selling books, including Branding Small Business For Dummies, Double Your Income Doing What You Love and the co-author of New York Times best-seller Chicken Soup for the Parent’s Soul and author of the Canadian best-seller, Chicken Soup for the Canadian Soul.

"If They Only Knew..." Why We Have To Stop Listening To Our Inner Critic

"If They Only Knew..." Why We Have To Stop Listening To Our Inner Critic
Have you ever been a social situation where you thought, "if they only knew the truth, there's no way they'd want anything to do with me."?

There was a season of my life that I knew this feeling all too well and that inner voice almost caused me to miss out on one of the most impactful experiences of my life! I'm guessing I'm not the only one who's ever felt this way. The feeling of knowing that because of the sin in my life, I wanted to run away from community instead of running towards it, running away from church instead of being apart of it, running away from God instead of running to him.

My encouragement to you is this: 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God doesn't carry around the burdens of our sin and view us for that. We're seen as forgiven when we come to him. It's good news.
