Angel's life took a darker turn as she witnessed a murder and accumulated 25 criminal convictions, resulting in a three-year jail sentence for assaults and intent-to-kill charges.

In 2009, despite having material wealth, Angel found herself in court, ready to face three years in jail. Supported by her whānau, she sought solace in religion, which, in her own words, saved her life.

Angel emerged as one of the first wahine Māori to share her story on social media. Now, she joins the Altbays Table Talk to delve into her life journey and discuss her current successful projects.
