Some believe that they died from an accidental fall while others believe foul play may have been involved. Despite an extensive search, only some of their remains were found. Unexplainable pictures were also found on the girls' digital camera. Until now, the official causes of death still remain unknown.

Does new photo analysis and location matching from online sleuths potentially cast new light on the disappearance of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon? Today on the Solvable Mysteries Podcast, Juras and Glenn review comprehensive and ongoing analysis that has come to light from online theorists, including a controversial photo which appears to match the famous "night hair" photo with a daylight photo of Kris Kremers to reveal more of what was going on in that scene.  The additional research from other online sleuths now appears to show potential real-life locations that match the night-time photos, but brings forth other discrepancies with regards to time stamps on those same photos, creating new questions and allegations of photoshopping by authorities

Additionally, we now have additional revelations of potential social relationships between Osman Valenzuela, Jose Manuel Murgas, and Henry Eliezer Gonzales, the son of guide Feliciano Gonzales.  Given the disturbing photos of Henry that appear to show him posing next to a dead or unconscious woman, and allegations that the infamous "night hair" photo might also be of a posed Kris Kremers, many theories now abound about potential connections between the deceased young ladies and these named individuals.
