Blossoming Open + Jewish Recipes from the 70s

Blossoming Open + Jewish Recipes from the 70s

The angels bring to you beautiful waves of love to help you blossom open to the dreams awakening in your heart. Then Laurel wanders through the pages of a Jewish sisterhood cookbook from the 1970s. It is the Feast Upon Cookbook from Temple Judea in Manhasset, NY that just so happens to contain a recipe sourced to Skokie (Laurel's home town).  You'll also hear about some "dietetic" recipes that were popular at that time (many of which included diet soda).

Calming Soothing Angelic Energies + For the Love of Kugel

Calming Soothing Angelic Energies + For the Love of Kugel

This is a bit of an eclectic mashup tonight for you. We begin with waves of calming soothing energies from the angels to help quiet your energy body. There is also a beautiful message about the healing presence of trees. Then Laurel waxes poetic about her love of kugel, a Jewish dish, typically a noodle casserole that can be sweet or savory. True to form, Laurel's favorite recipe is super-sweet and rich. She also shares other recipes to expand your kugel repertoire should you decide to play the recipe field.
