172: "The Pinky POV," "The Really Great Dictator," and "Brain Food"

172: "The Pinky POV," "The Really Great Dictator," and "Brain Food"

Each week, Joey, Nathan and Kelly revisit an episode of Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, or Freakazoid! Today the hosts discuss another great episode of Pinky and the Brain! The episode features a look at the world through the eyes of Pinky, a catchy song about World Domination, and some great celebrity parodies. How many water towers will this episode of Pinky and the Brain get? Listen and find out!

    The Pinky POV

This episode is unlike any other episode, it's shown completely through the eyes of Pinky! The Brain takes Pinky to Seattle to take over the world. Unfortunately since the audience is inside the brain of Pinky, it's a little unclear as to what Brain's plan really is, but that doesn't really matter. Kelly, Nathan and Joey discuss their favorite moments in this memorable segment.

    The Really Great Dictator

The Brain sings a song about world domination in order to reach the masses. The hosts all love this catchy tune!

    Brain Food

The Brain has a plan to make humans realize he should be their leader. By simply putting an intelligence boosting substance on their pizza he hopes to boost their intelligence and then take over the world! This plan incorporates celebrity endorsements so the cartoon features lots of celebrity parodies. So many in fact that the hosts have trouble identifying them all!

    #2 Sol

    #2 Sol

Each week, Joey, Nathan and Kelly revisit an episode of Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, or Freakazoid! Today, your hosts talk about the second episode of Pinky and the Brain- Of Mouse and Man.

    Of Mouse and Man

The Brain has a new plan to take over the world using voicemail. In order to get the funds to create this system however he must first get a job and then sue his employer for damages after faking an on the job work accident. The Brain gets a job using his robot suit, avoids a sexual harassment lawsuit, and then accuses the company of turning him into a mouse due to a dangerous combination of their microwave and some non-dairy creamer. This all leads to the third act where the Brain takes the company to court! Will the Brain prove that he has been turned into a mouse or will it be determined that he's just a strange looking little man?

    96c Animanicast: The Goodfeathers Reunion!

Each week, Joey, Nathan and Kelly revisit an episode of Animaniacs in the order in which they first premiered. Today we have an incredibly special episode with a reunion of the voice actors behind the Goodfeathers! Maurice LaMarche, John Mariano and Chick Vennera sit down with Tom Ruegger for the first time in over 20 years!

    Goodfeathers Reunion

Maurice, John, Chick and Tom discuss some of the things that made the Goodfeathers cartoons so special. Learn about their influences and some little known facts about the characters, (for example, Chick Vennera voiced the Godpigeon, not Maurice LaMarche as many online sources have stated.) You'll also get to hear Pesto, Squit, Bobby, and the Godpigeon answer some questions! It's an exclusive event that you'll only hear on the Animanicast!

    Special Giveaway!

Do you want a Goodfeathers QFig signed by Maurice LaMarche, John Mariano, Chick Vennera, and Tom Ruegger? Then just leave a positive 5 star rating and review on Apple Podcasts or iTunes! We will select a one listener review at random at the end of January! Leave your review today and listen later in January to see if you're the winner!

S05E06 Pinky and the Brain vs. The Prince

S05E06 Pinky and the Brain vs. The Prince

Ever wondered what it would be like to spend an afternoon in Andy's room in Toy Story? Us neither. Also this episode won't satisfy that craving at all. Frankly, I don't know why I opened this description with that question. I blame the pain killers I'm on. WOOOOOO. It's the dynamic rodent duo Pinky and the Brain (Andy) vs. the enigmatic slave to his all-powerful father's wishes, The Prince (Dan) from the Katamari Damacy series. As previously stated, this thang-a-rang goes down in the Toy Story universe.

Pucker up your buns and pop in some ear-buds, cuz this Battlecast shiz be NSFW as F.

Warning: Heavy debate over the best Toy Story movie.

    Records after last episode:
    Dan 1-2, Andy 1-2, James 3-1
