Leadership Butler County Class of 2023-2024

Leadership Butler County Class of 2023-2024

This week's episode features a program in Butler County that has helped over 600 inspiring leaders gain new skill sets to be more successful in their careers & personal lives. We are honored to have Ian Hunter and Jamie Conrad, Co-Chairs of the 2023-24 Leadership Butler County Class, to talk all about the program. This year's class has the honor of having the largest class size in the history of the program!

Ian and Jamie talk about how this year's class has kicked off as they already have a few months under their belt (1st class in September, once a month programs). The most recent program, Media in Butler County, seemed to be a class favorite.

The class recently selected their legacy project and it was announced to the public right before the start of 2024. This year's class will be partnering with the Prospect Boys and Girls Club to build new fencing, new dug outs, and a new concession stand! Construction has already started and the video can be found on the Leadership Butler County Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/LeadershipButlerCounty

This project requires $20,000-25,000 and in order to get the funds needed, the class is kicking off with a Murder Mystery Dinner Fundraiser on February 10th. This year's program is titled "One Love to Lose" and will be held at the Atrium. Tickets are currently on sale and going fast! Prices are $60 a person or $650 for a table of ten. We would like to wish Ian, Jamie and the rest of the class the best of luck with their project! We can't wait to see the unveiling later this year.

Leadership Butler County Class of 2022-2023

Leadership Butler County Class of 2022-2023

This week's episode features one of the best programs in Butler County, Leadership Butler County! Shanea Clancy and Cody Slater, participants of the 2022-23 class, to discuss their upcoming fundraising events for their class projects.

Leadership Butler County has been strong for 25 years and remains a unique, nine-month program that educates class members on various local issues and topics. A special strength of this program, which seeks individuals who represent a cross-section of the Butler County community, is the diversity of its class members. Each year, the class consists of individuals from the private, public, and non-profit sectors. These men and women are active in business, labor, education, the professions, the arts, religion, human services, health care, and other backgrounds.

Shanea and Cody talk to us about the 3 projects that their class is undertaking and the different fundraisers that they'll be hosting this year to fund the projects. The biggest fundraiser is the annual Murder Mystery Dinner that will be held on April 1st. Leadership Butler County Class of 2020

Michele Konyha and Mikayla Moretti are this week's guests to talk about this year's Leadership Butler County class project.

Michele and Mikayla explain the project at Moraine State Park and their ribbon cutting event at the Regatta in August. They need to raise around $50,000 to put in a handicap accessible boat dock as well as making improvements to the area around the dock.

LBC Class of 2020 has multiple fundraisers to help cover the costs. First, a fundraiser is an on-going ticket raffle to win top brand coolers, a kayak and much more! Tickets can be purchased thru any class member or contacting the Butler Chamber office for more information.

Second, there will be a Murder Mystery Dinner held on Saturday, May 9th at The Atrium in Butler. The doors open at 5:30 PM and dinner will be served at 6 PM. There will be raffle baskets, cash bar & more. 1920's Dress is encouraged for this Mobsters, Molls & Marinara themed show!
