BE BRAVE Enough To Live ( Living Lucky )

Be Brave Enough To Live and Confident Enough To Give.

Be brave and be beautiful.  Have the courage to reach out and help those around you.  This strikes a nerve for some people when they first come into our circle.
The ones that stay start a gratitude journal and a 10 point power list.

The more you build your truth around the fact that YOUR life is beautiful, abundant, and full of unlimited things to be grateful for, the easier it is to see the unlimited opportunities and share them with fellow collaborators.

Don't live in a state of fear and lack.  Lean into the possibilities and the abundance life has to offer.   Surround yourself with a community that makes you better.
We shoot for the Law of Thirds.  33% of your community should pull you forward, 33% should be your peer group, and 33% should be available for you to pull forward and to push and cheer for you.

The top 33% are who you are learning from and aspiring to be more like.
Your peer group consists of people on your self development journey.  Having conversations with them and living life with them allows for you to gain different perspectives and the ability to learn at an accelerated pace, pointing out each other's blind spots.  The next 33% are just behind you on their journey. and are eager to learn from your new insights.  Teaching is one of the best anchors for learning.  Learn in order to teach.  (Rate of Application)

You can choose the world you want to live in.  An Abundant world full of opportunities, or a scarce world with few opportunities.    The world you end up in is dependent on the choice YOU make.

Be BRAVE,  Step out of mediocrity.  Believe in yourself.  Breathe life into your dream and LIVE THE LIFE YOU CRAVE.

Thanks for listening.   We go LIVE on Facebook every Weekday morning at 6:55 New York time to start our friends off with some smiles, fun, and a positive message before they go to work and we start working with clients or companies.  Now that many of them are back to commuting, Podcast is an easier medium and not a big ask.  We are happy to oblige.

    Keep Living Lucky.

#003: Authenticity and Leadership Style with Ben Bellamy

#003: Authenticity and Leadership Style with Ben Bellamy

A good leader leads from their strengths. Joining me today is Ben Ballamy, founder and CEO of CHi Studios, an organization that pulls together top-level executives and thought leaders for important conversations. Harnessing the power of alignment.

Ben has such a great perspective on leadership and leadership styles. His view is that authenticity is at the core of good leadership, and it comes from individual strengths. No style is the "right" style, the only right style comes from what works for a leader. There are many types of leaders, those that lead from the front, the side, from behind, or the field and they are all necessary. Ben's personal leadership style comes from a place of support, fitting the pieces together.

Inauthenticity is at the top of Ben's list of leadership challenges. He also highlights a challenge that comes with a common belief in the leadership world, "leaders must have an answer for everything". Another challenge he identifies is when leaders lack the confidence to empower the people around them. Problems that can arise from these challenges can lead the organization in the wrong direction or end in leaders losing the support of their team.

We are all unique and dynamic with something really important to bring to the table. I love to ask my guests about their special superpowers that can at times be their biggest weaknesses. Ben's empathy. In a leadership role, Ben will always wait to make decisions that may hurt people, even to the detriment of the team. This really counteracts some of his important advice to other leaders, where having hard conversations leads to success.

Ben has some really great thoughts and is doing some incredible things in the supply chain world and beyond. If you'd like to learn more about Chi Studios and its team, you can check out their website.
