EPISODE 29: Fleeing the Lebanese Civil War and Becoming A Teacher in Texas
Plummer Elementary Second Grade Teacher Inass Barnes was born in Beirut, Lebanon. She and her family fled the country during the Lebanese Civil War. She didn't know English when she arrived in the United States, but she eventually learned it and became the Cedar Hill ISD Elementary School Teacher of the Year.
