    Dan is a twenty-first-century director and filmmaker. First found behind the camera professionally at sixteen, he has directed music videos, commercials, and over 50 short films in his career. At twenty-two he opened his first film production company, If Not Why Not, and successfully completed thirty plus productions. He then served as a Creative Director at the prolific Cape Town film and production company, AVA. And six months later started his independent YouTube channel, DanTheDirector. A channel that currently has around 65 thousand subscribers and grows by the thousands on a monthly basis. He has just returned from Cannes Lions where he won two silver screens at the Young Directors awards.

    You could say that Liam was destined to make chocolate. Growing up next to the Cadbury factory he is now on a mission to build the best chocolate factory in the world.
    Liam drew inspiration from the time he spent working with a French chef in his restaurant days. He loved those making stuff in all corners of Wales, which have influenced many of his chocolate bar flavours even today. The company was founded four years ago with a £3,000 loan from the Prince's Trust in a caravan in Liam’s mums back garden. At NOMNOM, the team is made up of passionate individuals wanting to make a real difference to the community.

    118: Briony Penn | Barefoot Mapper
    One of Canada’s leading environmentalists, Briony is a geographer from Saltspring Island, BC.
    Briony has lived most of her life on the shores of the Salish Sea and helped initiate the sea’s official naming.
    She is an adjunct professor at the School of Environmental Studies, University of Victoria and has spent the last 20 years as an award-winning environmental writer, educator, naturalist, broadcaster, artist and lecturer.
    A pioneer of barefoot mapping, she has created maps and led workshops assisting communities to map their cherished places for nearly two decades, culminating in several books including Islands in the Salish Sea: A Community Atlas, nominated for the BC Book Awards.
    Briony is the mother of two teenage boys and lives on Saltspring Island in an ecohouse she designed.

    Gavin founded the Cloud Appreciation Society in 2004 to fight 'blue-sky thinking'.
    He feels that clouds are one of the most beautiful and varied of nature's displays and that it is high time people stopped complaining about them. The society now has over 25,000 members from all around the world.
    Gavin’s book, The Cloudspotter’s Guide came out in 2006, it immediately became an international bestseller, and has been published in fifteen different languages.

    Growing up on an organic farm with parents who are dreamers, Fergal found himself living an hour from good waves. His surfing has seen him travel all over the world. Fergal quickly withdrew from the global game when he began to feel the impact that his career was having on the environment. Pulling away from sponsors and settling down on his native Irish coastline, Fergal now devotes his life to the small farm where he and his friends and family grow organic vegetables. Running for the Irish General Election earlier this year, Fergal puts the land he’s lived on first; but always makes some time for a session or two when the swell is on his side.

    Having worked in engineering, pharmacy and investment banking, nothing ever felt quite right. Glen has now turned his hand to solar energy, building the first solar farm in west Wales. Here’s what he learnt along the way. Glen Peters was born in India and grew up in a railway colony near Calcutta. He emigrated with his parents to London and took a degree in Chemistry and later a PhD in information management. In the 80’s he joined Price Waterhouse where he consulted with many of the world’s largest companies up until last year.

    112: Mark Reeves | Leadership Circles
    Mark Reeves has always had a keen interest in and passion for leadership, physical and outdoor education and health and wellbeing – an interest he lives and breathes. His particular leadership focus is mentoring, surrounding oneself with great people and leadership as a verb-not a position but action!
    He has undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate degrees from Melbourne University and in Outdoor Pursuits from Plas-Y-Brennin in North Wales, UK. They were tough days in Wales at a demanding training centre – this was where Shipton and Mallory of early Everest fame undertook their training! Ghosts abounded in those hallowed halls and crags.
    In 1999 he established the Alpine School, Dinner Plain. The school now has three campuses with the Snowy River Campus at Marlo and the Gnurad-Gundidj Campus at Glenormiston. It is the only school of its type in a government system in the world.
    Mark has always been active in the local community – he is a volunteer firefighter (Lieutenant) with the CFA and has chaired the Dinner Plain Community Centre. He coached hockey for Orbost and East Gippsland, is a volunteer for Marlo Coast Guard, is on the Curlip Paddle Steamer committee and was elected Mayor in November 2013.
    Mark lives in Marlo at the mouth of the Snowy River and loves "things and people that go!"

Program and the Little Learners Autism Program, as well as take on the role of Deputy Chair of Amaze (Autism Victoria).

    Jenny has a long history in the tech industry founding start-ups including, Switch-Mobile, a disruptive VoIP mobile software company that was acquired in 2008.
    Previously, Jenny was COO of Wodan Capital, an associate at JP Morgan and started her career as a lawyer at Wieden & Kennedy.
    She also sits on the Board and advises several companies and organizations including Texting.ly, Founder Labs and Astia among others. Jenny is based in San Francisco and New York when she’s not in London.

    Anna, a leadership development coach and Gary, a property developer knew that life could be reclaimed here, both for Hopland and for themselves. Life and care were needed and thus began the journey of beginning again.

    Biting the bullet in 2011 and going freelance she now runs PR agency in West Wales and is the founder of Monkstone Knitwear, a company based on the core roots of farming. She is part of the whole process from lambing to spinning.
    Anna runs Monkstone Knitwear with her partner Richard Reed on his family-owned land, Trevayne Farm. She’ll tell a few stories of mud and her passion to bring manufacturing back to the UK.
