We cover the Sims 4, TV shows including Insecure, Grownish, The Handmaid's Tale, Euphoria, and distancing myself from unrelatable music. I believe it runs true that some things are better left alone, or better yet unfinished.

Entertaining Escapism is a podcast that explores ways that media and entertainment such as TV shows, video games, and music interact with our mental health. This show covers the perspective of how media can be a form of coping to “escape” from the difficulties of life. 

Two of the largest video game franchises are none other than Minecraft, the best selling game of all time, and The Sims, which dominates the life simulator genre. 

Today we compare and contrast these open ended iconic games. Prepare for a rant about why I decided to stop playing the Sims 4 and how gaming giant EA could improve the game for the community's sake.

The BitLife Life Simulator app is rated for users ages 17+, however BitLife is popular among school aged children. Players are exposed to many mature ideas including drug addiction, sex, and violence. Player can earn dozens of different ribbons once they reach certain milestones, which could contribute to excessive screen time or gaming addiction.

The BitLife app was the 5th most downloaded free iPhone app in 2019, according to Apple. Author and Smart Social Founder Josh Ochs explains why the popular app is inappropriate for young players.
