On this episode, we had the pleasure of chatting with friend and business owner Jeremy Tracey. Jeremy and his family own Crokinole Game Boards where they handcraft, high quality crokinole boards right here in Elmira.

Jeremy has been trained and mentored by one of the best crokinole board builders in the world today. Combine that with Jeremy’s passion for the game of crokinole and what you have is the ‘TRACEY’ board that looks amazing and plays even better.

Throughout our chat we got to learn about some of values he holds dear, about his mentorship from Willard Martin (a very well known and experienced Crokinole game board maker) along with some of the struggles of being in a family business.

Carrie graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree (BKin,Hons) in 2011 and became a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario in 2013.

Her positive outlook and attitude creates an environment of success as she helps clients to progress and reach for their potential. 

Carrie's background in gymnastics coaching, physical conditioning and rehab combined with a knowledge of Kinesiology, have assisted her to see opportunities for corrective treatments to enhance movement and performance.

Raised in Elmira, being a part of the community has always been important to Carrie. She started participating in gymnastics at 2 years old and transitioned  from gymnast to coach at the Woolwich Gymnastics Club as a teen.

Karen is the owner of Green Apple Photography, where she focuses on photographing children and the people who love them.  She also collaborates with small businesses to create photographs that connect with their customers.

She is both a fundraiser and volunteer for Kate's Kause - a charitable organization committed to Angelman Syndrome awareness and inclusive community projects. She is the proud aunt of Kate, who inspires me with her strength, voice, and her focus on enjoying life -something we all could use more of.

In her free time she enjoys cycling, reading, and meeting & collaborating with new people.  She love spending time with my husband and three children.  Together with her family, she enjoy getting muddy on outdoor adventures, riding their bikes in the beautiful, rural communities of Woolwich and Wellesley, and watching movies together while cuddling in their pajamas.
