Reflecting Back with Michelle Podcast: Author Jill Jamieson-Secrets of the Little Green-Eyed Girl

    Introduction:

Experience the transformative power of faith and healing as Michelle interviews Jill about her incredible journey how God helped her overcome pornography addiction and find true healing. Don't miss this inspiring conversation that will uplift your spirit and ignite your faith.

In a brave and deeply personal testimony, Jill Jamieson opens up about her journey of addiction, shame, and ultimately, redemption. From a young age, Jill found herself entangled in the grips of pornography, a secret she carried with immense guilt and shame. Believing that marriage and starting a family would heal her wounds, Jill soon discovered that her inner turmoil was far from resolved. It was through a profound spiritual awakening that she finally found the healing she desperately sought, realizing that only God had the power to help her break free from the bondage of addiction.

Growing up, Jill had no idea of the consequences that awaited her when she stumbled upon pornography at a young age. Initially curious, she was soon pulled into a web of addiction that seemed impossible to escape. The shame and guilt she felt were overwhelming, leading her to hide her secret from everyone, including her closest friends and family. As the years went by, Jill carried this burden into adulthood, hoping that marriage and having children would somehow wash away her shame. However, she soon realized that the wounds within her ran deep, and the facade of a perfect life couldn't mask the pain that lingered within her soul. Jill began to experience a profound transformation. She realized that true healing could only come from a higher power, as she found renewed strength to confront her addiction head-on and break free from its hold.

While Jill's battle with pornography addiction was arduous, her ultimate triumph serves as an inspiring message of hope for others who may be silently suffering. Her story offers a glimmer of light to those in similar circumstances, reminding them that transformation and redemption are always possible with faith, self-compassion, and the unwavering love that God provides.

Maybe It Was The Cheap Wine

Maybe It Was The Cheap Wine

Once upon a time there was an exhausted working mama of four who decided to unwind with a glass of cheap wine. One thing lead to another and that tired mom decided to record a podcast episode while unwinding too, which is what you have the pleasure of listening to right now. It may not be my typical fiery, motivational material, but I can promise you will laugh just as much as the last episode made you cry!

Im actually excited I got to share another side of me. The goofy, self deprecating, makes a fool of herself side. Even though we are all friends here if anyone has the urge to start calling me Jessman again... just no.

    Time for some girl chat!

    Time for some girl chat!

We've decided that once a month we are going to sit down and have some real girl chat with you all, apologies to any of the male listeners out there (you can still listen if you would like) but as 2 women we feel this is a necessary addition to our podcasting episodes. There are so many topics out there that should be talked about and brought to every ones attention, so we have taken it upon ourselves to do just that with you.

In this 1st episode we are asking; are you a princess or tomboy when it comes to dressing up or carrying out your day to day tasks? We then move on to discuss the idea of standing only clothes due to facing a minor discomfort when wearing the wrong thing and having to sit for long periods of time. You can find out exactly what we are referring to by listening now! We have chosen a G&T for this weeks episode, what will you choose?

If you want to get involved or let us know what makes you a bold bitch, find us on instagram, sign up to our newsletter, check out our website or better still, do all three!

    E27: Blame

    E27: Blame

Blame is widespread in society both at home and at work. You may yourself may have witnessed a blame culture at a workplace or even domestically. Many workers feel uncomfortable and nervous about owning up to mistakes for fear of being punished. Surely punishment or ridicule isn't the healthiest way to deal with an employees oversight.

There is always another way and in this episode the UK's leading burnout expert Jayne and Balanceology co-founder Dylan, discuss how a change in culture around blame and the adoption of a solutions focussed atmosphere can turn mistakes into huge positives for both the individual concerned and the business at large. And using this method no-one is embarrassed or shamed.

We also share tips of how you can snap out of old habits of blaming others when reacting to seemingly small problems and why these behaviours came about in the first place.

We also discuss how taking  ownership and being fully accountable for your actions can free you of all the worry and pain that blaming someone can burden you with.

It's a fun chat, but apologies must go out to those of you who are nationals of St Kitts & Nevis, and the actual island off of Africa. We're sorry... well, Nick is!!

(Disclaimer: Ryan missed out on going to the US, but Nick did make it to oz and surprised his daughter).

We're seeing it more and more these days... botox, fillers, transplants, 'jobs', etc etc, and our hosts are no strangers to considering these things one day as well. Whether they go through with it is another story, but it's interesting to hear how vain our three hosts can be.

Besides this, there's more mascots... and there's a strange selection this week, that's for sure!
