Harold we refuse to call you "Butch" Knight featuring Starman-DELUXE

Harold Knight was not only a freeloading son of a gun but a killer.  Listen to what this crazy man did to his wife.  Also, he was NEVER caught, if the old man is still alive,  he's on the lamb!  Still on the fugitive list.  Yikes.

Leaving you with a happy ending and on a good note, as always.  This week we are featuring  Starman-DELUXE.

    72 - Kevin Davison

    72 - Kevin Davison

Welcome to episode 72 of the Ffffing 40s Podcast!

This time we have dedicated the episode entirely to Kevin Davison. Not only do we interview him, we actually have a segment of one of his tracks which we have used as an interlude for your enjoyment.

Listen in to find out what Leanne and Cory have been getting up to, including LeAnne’s long awaited Harvest Party.

Kevin is a first responder, which inspired the song you will hear in this episode, which has touched first responders around the world. Kevin has received countless messages from people like him from all over, including Russia, Pakistan and many more.

Kevin has been in music for as long as he can remember, recording his first album in Nashville back in 2009, which lead to shows supporting artists for a long time, quickly gaining experience and allies in the industry, leading to a tour through-out North America on the back of his song “Sirens”.

Fort Worth Texas Public Library music librarian Rita Alfaro joins the Fort Worth Roots Podcast to explain the selection process for Amplify 817. It was a sincere honor to have Rita on the show and we are looking forward to our next recording! Big thank you to Francisco Aguilar and Theresa Davis of the Fort Worth Public Library for getting us together.

Did I forget to include something? Let me know please! media@fortworthroots.com About the show! This Interview style podcast or variety interview podcast originates out of Fort Worth Texas. We've recorded episodes in the Fort Worth Stockyards, many homes and offices, we've traveled all over the DFW area, and now currently we have set up shop in Austin Texas at the foot of the Hill Country. Its always been the purpose of the show to be a true mobile podcast with a mobile podcast studio. While we grow the show and continue to make friends, we are in the process of what one of our guests calls "bridge building". Simply put, bridge building is the process of working on your dreams while maintaining your day job! Andrew Turner, the host of Fort Worth Roots, is no stranger to the perils of being in business for himself. His first business was a landscape design business that landed him a role on HGTV with Andy and Ashley Williams on the show " Flip or Flop Fort Worth. Andrew and his little company appeared on 6 episodes of the show. This was the first time he had been part of a production this size. Eventually the show was finished filming and two years later Andrew left the world of landscape design. With experience in a dozen or more industries Andrew finds it easy to connect with almost all of his guests. The show continues to evolve and change with each episode. Bringing more interesting content to every recording is the goal and maintaining a feel of authenticity is paramount. We hope you enjoy the show and, we would love to hear from you! Welcome to another episode of the Fffffing 40s Show!

This time we have another round of awesome guests! We kick things off with Artist, Jamie Pruden, who is a lifelong visual artist, creating mostly as a pass-time until nine years ago when a stranger convinced him to go public. Since then, Jamie has not looked back!

We then chat to White Owl, live from the Blind Beggar Smokehouse. We talk about her experience with music so far, the revival of her solo career and departure from her band and even go into some of the meaning behind her inspiration before she performs for the audience.

We then speak with Steve McQueen of the Steve McQueen band, longtime musician here in Calgary, we find out what Steve has been doing, past until present and also future plans, he is playing live this Saturday in fact, check him out, links below!

We finish this show with a conversation with Dave Temple of MCC Recording. This is an interview that we have been especially excited about, it has been a long time coming. We talk all about Dave’s life and music from his start at the age of nine playing in his family band through his career in a metal band in the 1980s right through to what he is doing today with MCC Recording Studios.
