This week, Cardsy and Rask talk about the end of the OHL season and look ahead to the Memorial Cup. Then, the boys talk some NHL playoffs before being joined by our guest this week, Cole Tymkin. Tymkin talks about growing up in a town of 800 people and his journey from there to the London Knights in the OHL. Tymkin had a reputation as the toughest guy in the league, and we get into some stories on how he earned that reputation. After the interview, the boys wrap it up with some golf talk. 

Darren McFarland and Kara Hammer catch up with current Predators player Luke Evangelista. He talks about his "welcome to the NHL moment" and what these first five games in the National Hockey League have been like. Including lighting the lamp not just once but twice in Vancouver and what that was like. Luke discusses what his family means to him and growing up waiting for this day to come.

Darren and Kara answer some #AskPOP questions from Twitter and weigh in on their thoughts of everything that has happened on this long road trip.

Rick Nash joins the podcast! Jeff and Elliotte chat with the 2-time Olympic gold medalist (33:30) as the Columbus Blue Jackets get set to retire #61 to the rafters at Nationwide Arena. Nash talks about how he found out his jersey was getting retired, tell us his best Doug MacLean story as well as his proudest moment in hockey, why he decided to step away from the game, he shares a great story about his first day in New York after being traded to the Rangers, if he’d very considering being a GM, and he talks about his junior days in London, Ontario with the Knights.

After that, Anaheim Ducks forward Max Jones joins the show to share some funny stories, talk about his time in London, playing in the minors, and finally becoming a full-time NHL player. The boys wrap it up this week with some golf talk.

What do you get when you combine, size, sick hair, unreal hands, scoring touch, and professionalism? You give up? The answer is Rick Nash of course. This guy embodied professionalism with his play and leadership. He scored one of the nicest goals in NHL history, played in the Stanley Cup Final in 2014, and won two Olympic Gold Medals representing Canada. He was also drafted 1st overall back in 2002 before going on to play in over 1000 games while scoring almost 450 career goals. Hall of Famer? That's probably debatable but as a person he's a first ballot. Nash is pretty honest in this conversation, describing what it felt like to play for the once dismal Columbus Blue Jackets. The release he felt after moving on to New York where he starred for the Rangers, before finishing his career in Boston. Nash saw his career cut short because of multiple concussions but he's in a good place now working back in Columbus. Get to know the real Rick Nash on this edition of the Cam and Strick Podcast.
