Often, “Feeling Alone” is due to the absence of friendships or the loss of them. Having a sense of belonging is a human’s basic need.   

While there’s enticement to feel alone hitting us from many directions, Jesus invites us to a lasting relationship with Him. Once we belong to Him, we can have confidence He will stand by us. The Apostle Paul, for example (2 Timothy 4:16-18), found that some friends may abandon us, but those who love the Lord can trust that He will never leave.

Are you experiencing “Family Problems” or see it happening among your friends? What can anyone do about it?  

 As told in Luke 12, division is often between believers and unbelievers, members with differing outlooks and lifestyle. Resolution may require authenticity, fervent prayer, studying His Word, and to patiently lean on the Lord. 

 The Bible offers so much! It defines love (1 Cor 13), promotes an awareness of Spiritual Warfare (Eph 6). As healthy boundaries are set, a person my need to safely leave a habitually toxic environment.

Jesus brought radical instruction when He said to “Love Your Enemies” and pray for their blessings. 

 We can look to Jesus while He suffered on the cross, saying, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” In that we could consider, if they only knew that heaven and hell, and the spiritual law of sowing and reaping are real, then they would not have said or done what they did.

“Love them Anyway” -Have you ever been mistreated, told you don’t matter, or that you don’t belong? It hurts, doesn’t it. Can you in turn love that abusive person and even pray for them? 

 Here I share part of my journey from lies of the enemy to salvation in Jesus, followed by years in and out of the wilderness, through my rededication to the Lord. I share a few things I’ve learned along the way that help me to love them anyway. 

Especially key is Jesus’ prayer while on the cross (Luke 23:34). I share with you a prayer by a character in one of my fictional stories in “STAND With Your Armor On” that I am now able to pray for my enemies. Maybe this prayer will help you as well?
