Episode 170- From Cycle Syncing to a Smooth Menopause Transition [PART 1] with Jess Suchan and Candace Burch

Candace Burch and Jess Suchan, a mother-daughter duo, joined me on the podcast this week to talk about all things hormone health! Candance serves as a hormone health educator, Jess as a holistic health coach. In this first episode we covered Jess’s areas of specialty: supporting fertility, tracking the menstrual cycle naturally, breaking down the four phases of the menstrual cycle and optimizing nutrition during each phase, and hormonal birth control.

[7:08]- How did Jess become passionate about holistic hormone health?

[12:24]- What is Candace’s personal story that brought her to educating males and females worldwide about their hormones?

[21:58]- What are the primary causes of infertility? How does hormone health contribute to infertility?

[33:23]- How can someone safely transition off hormonal birth control? What are alternative ways to track the menstrual cycle?

Be sure to tune in next week for part 2 of this conversation with Candace and Jess, where we hear from Candace about transitioning from perimenopause into menopause!
