chatting with Gary Whelan from the infamous band 'The Happy Mondays' that were part of the cultural music scene called 'Madchester' synonymous with 'Ecstasy' the love drug, spawn of the 1960's Psychedelics with the attitude of the 1970's punk Anarchy. Signed to 'Factory Records' and Tony Wilson that inspired the film '24 hour party people in 2002 that starred Steve Coogan.
A meteoric rise that launched 'The Hacienda' as the ecstasy club that was about art, music and creativity, never about a financial outcome that saw its demise after a short few years.

Now alongside 'Mondays' gigs Gary has come out guitar in hand playing in his new venture, a band called 'The Magic Village'.  writing film scores and ongoing music productions.
