 Today we are going deep on Made in Abyss! This show is unique if nothing else. It's like a bizarro world Ghibli movie – chibi and whimsical, yet dark and deeply, deeply disturbing. Disturbing even further because all this trauma is experienced by very young children. Mikey is vibing hard (no surprises here), Jordy is able to get past the trauma for the sake of whimsy, and Jay has a downright hard time. When we disagree, we laugh a lot and have a great time. In this episode we go to the depths and come back a little deformed.

What an amazing production! All around! Everything about this show was super captivating and the music alone had us on the edge of our seats, holding our breath! Kevin Penkin blew our freaking butts off with one hell of an OST. Probably our favorite podcast episode we have recorded so far.
