    Usher, Chocolate, and Child Acting

This episode is part debrief from our trip to Vegas for the Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Usher after party, and part "normal" Glitter & Cat Litter episode. We can safely say that driving back from Vegas immediately after arriving at night only for the after party wasn't our brightest idea… In this episode, we talk about Usher, the Super Bowl after party we went to in Vegas, chocolate, rugrats, child acting, road trips, celebrities, cereal, waiter giving us the wrong food, ASMR, and more! Malcolm In The Middle (The Emma Stone Episode)

In this episode we discuss how loose lipped we got during our live show, the way GusGus carries cheese, our take on the new seasons of True Detective and Fargo, Drake's leaked (long?) dick pic, the name Riley Stone as a perfect pornstar name, Lois' voluminous mom hair, Reese's standard issue spikey hair, the 2000s boom of pig-based pranks, Liv's experience with a pregnant Bhad Baby bully, how you have to age into your love and respect for Lois, how Hal is the only loveable lazy husband, our PTSD from toxic teen girl friendships and SO MUCH MORE!!!

    97 - The Manhattan Project (1986)

    97 - The Manhattan Project (1986)

As we slowly march towards the release of Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, we gradually make our way through our Manhattan Project backlog with our very own Manhattan Project Project. This week we take a look at the relatively unknown film from 1986 about a gifted kid who decides to steal some  plutonium and create his own atomic bomb.

Sam has also watched the 6th seasons of both Black Mirror & Rick and Morty, along with finishing season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones. Meanwhile Lewis has been watching Malcolm in the Middle & the X-Men animated series.

For this year’s Max Fun Drive we brought you the first three episodes of a show created by Brooks Wheelan (I Think You Should Leave, SNL) & Isaac Rentz (Opening Night) called Wheelan Motors. If you haven’t listened to it yet… what are you waiting for?

This is the after show and in it you’ll hear all about how Brooks and Isaac started their comedy partnership. They talk in depth about their long and arduous development of Wheelan Motors. How close they were to the finish line and the rollercoaster ride that is Fox’s new pilot development process. This episode has a whole lot of passion and vulnerability in it. Perhaps the perfect way to cap off this year’s Max Fun Drive. Thanks for listening! Enjoy!

    Sibling Rivalry: Is It Inevitable?

    Sibling Rivalry: Is It Inevitable?

Squabbling with your siblings is pretty common when you're kids, but what happens if that escalates into a full-blown rivalry, or something even worse when you become adults?

Is it inevitable that you will always feel in some kind of competition with your brothers and sisters, or can some siblings have fantastic relationships throughout their lives? Is it a case of nurture rather than nature, meaning that parents can take steps to ensure you get along?

The Quicky speaks to an expert in family relationships to find out what the psychology behind sibling rivalry is, and what both parents and kids can do to stop it before it escalates.

Episode 93: Andy Bobrow (Community, Last Man On Earth) Interview (Greatest American Heroes After Show)

It’s week two of the Max Fun Drive! This is the one time of year where all of the shows on the Maximum Fun Network reach out to you and ask you to become members or upgrade your membership to help make our show possible. We’re following up last week’s table read of Greatest American Heroes with an interview with its writer, Andy Bobrow (Community, Last Man On Earth, Brooklyn 99!) In it you’ll hear Andy talk about his fifteen years in advertising before becoming a television writer. He let us in on some of his worries as a new writer, the pressure he put on himself to succeed, and the constant worry of thinking he might be too old to make it in this industry.  You’ll hear Andy talk about how he got his first writing job on Malcolm In The Middle and his experience writing on Community. He also talks in detail about how helpful it was to have had a career in advertising before becoming a TV writer. Some profound insight and vulnerability in this one. You won’t want to hit the pause button. Enjoy it!

Curb Your Enthusiasm returns, we compare the seasons of Arrested Development, How Will Arnett looks so young, Artur learns what Talking Fail is really about, Artur spoils the book and movie The City of Ember, why Brian Cranston whistled in Malcolm in the Middle, Will tells a homeless story, we somehow get onto Micheal Cane movies, and finally we talk way too much about. Gnomeo and Juliet
Not gonna lie, we just quote a lot of Arrested Development in this one...
