Today, we have a very special guest, Linette, a Latina portrait Photographer and Creative Director who has an amazing story to share.

Linette graduated with a Bachelors in Communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2012 and started her career in photography in 2014, quickly becoming a rising star in her industry.

Life took a drastic turn when she had to do a cross-country move with her family where she welcomed her second child a month later. As a mother of two, without a village, Linette slowly lost control of her purpose.

Through self-discovery, moving back home, and psychotherapy, Linette was able to find her footing again. Raising multicultural children, Linette's goal is to build community and empower women through photography to see and be the best version of themselves. Her journey has been both inspiring and uplifting, and we're excited to hear all about it.

Linette is also getting ready to launch her own podcast this year around self value within us and becoming a mental health ally to empower others to get the tools they need in their mental health journey.

Luzy King is an award-winning entrepreneur, Certified Trauma of Money Wealth Coach, contributing author, Community Leader, and Founder of Say Hola Wealth.

Luzy is on a mission to destigmatize the idea of wanting more money to help women build a legacy through stock market investing and entrepreneurship.   As a first-gen investor from humble beginnings, Luzy understands the challenges of building wealth not only because financial literacy is not taught in school but also because of the cultural beliefs around money in the Latina community.

In 2019, Luzy launched her coaching business after witnessing how many women were pushed out of the workforce due to a global pandemic, and many were not financially secure.   Now she teaches Latinas and WOC the strategies she used to pay off $220K in student loan debt in 36 months and be on track to make work optional at 45.

I’m back 🙌🏽 from a 4 month hiatus. I decided to take a pause after reaching our 6th month podcast milestone in April of this year. Dropping Gems Con Muchos Colores Podcast was lauched last year in September of 2021.

I wanted to honor my body and mind cues and embrace that rest and reflection are essential to continue to move forward.

I spent a lot of time outdoors and surrounded by nature and loved ones. I’m recharged and eager to share a solo episode and look forward to upcoming episodes highligting courageous mothers on this platform!
