Had to take a break from MarkxMark for a week due to no time. Ha! Biggest race event of the year and also the biggest paper I had to write this year for my Master's Class. One part of my paper really stuck out to me. This is what I'm sharing in this podcast.

To whom should we show compassion? In the second feeding of thousands bread and fish something is very different yet Jesus shows great compassion. Why? Not an easy concept to live out.

The only way you will be able to understand this title is to listen to this podcast. The greatest point of this section of scripture is this woman's extreme faith in Jesus. It is overwhelming. Her faith is what our faith should look like.

Have you ever met someone who talked the talk but could never walk the walk? That is what this podcast is about. Saying one thing but believing something else. Not living what you preach.

I would love to be able to walk on water. Only two people have; Jesus and one another. They not only walked on water but very stormy water! And then they all teleported. Seriously! Ha! There are some really great spiritual truths to consider that will challenge and strengthen your work with the Lord. And, if you never get teleported on earth here from one place to another you certainly will one day if you have placed your trust in Jesus. From heaven to earth you will go. It will be awesome! :) 

Jesus and his disciples are exhausted so they plan a short getaway to the wilderness where nobody is. They get there and there is a gigantic crowd. What do they do? They do what they do best. teach, care for and feed them all. Thousands of them.

A filthy lifestyle. Incest. Conniving. Debauchery. Dirty Dancing. All of this in one of the chapters of the Gospel. The ultimate reason for the Gospel. John The Baptist beheaded and it was just an afterthought to the Gospel writers. Why? Just listen....

This is a little different. I lead worship at a Motor Racing Outreach Association conference. Our focus was finding a Timothy to carry on our Chaplain ministry that God has given us when we are unable to continue or pass away. Here are some of the take aways from the conference w/ passages from Psalms, Isaiah and Timothy.

It is hard for us humans to be generous. We can give people are thoughts. We can give people our time. But when it comes to giving up our possessions or our money it is really hard. I hope this will help you to open up your hands. If you do...you won't believe what will happen. It is certainly MUCH better than robbing God.

You may have never thought of this before. I had never thought of it until earlier this year. Our Creator being our Savior

What one person can do, two can do it twice as good. Jesus takes a turn. It's no longer just HIm preaching the Gospel. He has now sending the twelve disciples out to do the work of the ministry. Sending them out 2x2. It's "Two Good".

When something is so believable and yet so much unbelief. And this unbelief is not coming from strangers, it is coming from those most close to Jesus. His own hometown, relatives and family. Crazy!

No matter if you are weathly w/ problems or poor and destitute w/ problems, in both situations your greatest Need is Jesus. Whatever situation you are in, don't fear, place your faith, trust and love in Jesus. HE IS the answer.

This is quite a story. You will not believe how many demos are in this man. Wow! And you won't believe how much the demon possessed man changed after Jesus dealt w/ "Legion" and how HE used the man in the future. Pretty incredible. I was not really looking forward to this passage. But after I finished I was just simply amazed.

What an incredible story. On a small boat. On the sea. In a windstorm! AHHHHH! No thank you. I make fun of the disciples here but I probably would have been worst! Take a listen and stretch your faith. Don't be a loser 😊💙

As hard as it is to understand the Bible sometimes it's not God's intention to keep it a secret from you. Stay the course. Keep reading. Keep studying. He will explain everything.

Also, it will seem sometimes that your labor is in vain while working for God. It's not. Keep working. Keep doing the work. Keep working the problem. God will bless if you don't quit. 

Do you want the blessings of God on your life or His curse? It's an easy answer but hard to execute.

It's easy to bury our head in the sand when we don't want to face a problem or......the truth. Mark shares in chapter 4 why many people who followed Jesus weren't really following Him at all.

It's easy to say who we are and what we've done. It's easy to say that we are a Christian. But it is another thing to "Back It Up" w/ our lives. If we truly are Christians then we will back it up with our life.

What is the worst sin you can think of? All sin "big or small" is offensive to God. But, there are sins that carry greater consequences. But what is the worst sin? Which one is the most horrible? Which sins will God forgive? Does He forgive them all??
