    Key Fantasy Questions: Pacific Division

    Key Fantasy Questions: Pacific Division

We continue our series of NBA divisional previews with a look at some of the key fantasy storylines in the Pacific, including what's at stake for Deandre Ayton, where to draft LeBron James, and the potentially overlooked upside of De'Aaron Fox. We also discuss the late-round potential of Jordan Poole, whether we're interested in drafting Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes and Marvin Bagley — and whether Kawhi Leonard's absence will result in a higher ceiling for Marcus Morris.

Ant-Man's Absurd Ceiling, Bamba's Breakout, Waiting For Gafford

Ant-Man's Absurd Ceiling, Bamba's Breakout, Waiting For Gafford

Anthony Edwards went nuts with 42 points on Wednesday night, and has showed a better-than-expected level of efficiency (not to mention explosive numbers) since the arrival of Chris Finch as head coach. Today, we look at his ridiculous future upside, as well as some other young players making big impressions: Mo Bamba, Isaac Okoro and Daniel Gafford, who for some reason cannot consistently get 25+ minutes for the Wizards despite some eye-catching per-minute stats. Also on this episode: some league-winning late-season production from Delon Wright, and to a lesser extent Facundo Campazzo.

Paul Hiepler: Horns Down! - Abilene Christian Senior

Paul Hiepler: Horns Down! - Abilene Christian Senior

We had to do it. You may know him as the “Horns Down Guy” or simply the hype man in one of this year’s top cinderella stories in the NCAA Tournament. Well, now we’re the hyped ones because we got Abilene Christian University and March Madness fan-favorite Paul Hiepler on the podcast! Don’t worry, it’s just as awesome as you’d expect it to be.

Hiepler has been in the national spotlight both on social media and in the basketball world ever since Abilene Christian University upset Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Of course the world went crazy over the “Horns Down” and pump-up memes, but we wanted to really dive into the importance of his role and just how effective his leadership and energy was to this team’s success. It’s easy to talk about the 20-point per night guys, but we truly embrace the guys who push those 20-point per night guys every single day in practice and bring that same energy when it matters most.

We loved our time with Paul. The boxscore will never show just how valuable and important he was to this program’s success over the last 4 years, but we hope this episode will shine some light on it. We also hope our listeners will have a whole different appreciation not only for Paul’s role, but also for Abilene Christian University and the amazing obstacles this group had to overcome on their road to success. Paul and Abilene Christian University may have busted your bracket, but they also earned your respect. After talking to Paul, he forever has ours and we know you’re going to love this one!

    Thank you Paul Hiepler!

Also on this episode: the breakout potential for Wendell Carter Jr., Delon Wright, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Thomas Bryant — as well as proof that Dr. A literally dreams basketball.

    10 Undervalued Fantasy Options

    10 Undervalued Fantasy Options

With less than two months to go until the start of the regular season, Matt Stroup and Steve Alexander look at 10 players who seem to be undervalued or a bit under the radar in fantasy leagues, ranging from T.J. Warren to Jonas Valanciunas to Lonzo Ball to Marvin Bagley. We also discuss why Danilo Gallinari could be a good draft day value again, and try to make sense of why Kelly Oubre is still relatively easy to get in drafts.
