Was it just us or did AEW seem.... off this week? Something didn't feel quite right and we attempted to try to figure it out.
We also touched on a few things in the world of WWE - Matt Riddle, Solo Sikoa, Trish Stratus, and more.
We're in between PPVS (or Premium Live Events or whatever) in AEW and WWE and things just seem a bit... off.
This week, we talked about the return of Matt Riddle and how we feel about where he fits into (or doesn't fit into) the Bloodline story as well as Drew McIntyre rumors. What are the chances we see him at Wembley in AEW later this year?
We then covered a couple of highlights from Battle of the Belts and Dynamite as well as All Access.
HHH was unable to be there at Raw due to COVID, and the lack of leadership and attention was evidently displayed on last night's show. The first forty minutes were incredible. The rest of the show seemed to lack any depth and continued with an endless barrage of promos and backstage segments. Tune in for all the details on The Tap.
It was the Raw after Extreme Rules and there were some shocking moments to share. Bobby Lashley was set to defend the US title against Seth Rollins, only to be detoured into Suplex City. Plus, the war between AJ Styles and the Judgment Day was taken to the next level, when AJ brought in some friends who are just too sweet. Tune in for all this and more on The Tap!
Today's edition focuses on the Judgment Day and how to improve their group, Damage Control's domination of the Raw Women's Champion and her friends, and the great in-ring action which took place on Monday Night Raw. Tune in for this and so much more on The Tap.
Monday Night Raw has been on a rise the last month and a half. However, this week took a bit of a dip in comparison. It was still a much better show than we had been getting for the last few years, but less than what we were enjoying the last several weeks. There was some great action with Riddle taking on Finn Balor, and Johnny Gargano making his return to the ring. Tune in for all this and more on The Tap!
In this second Q&A special, long time friends Jeremy and Matt take more of your calls - diving deeper into some of the themes discussed earlier in this podcast series.
In this episode Redman and Riddle discuss their personal worship leading journeys - reflecting on the importance of remaining dependent on God, no matter how much experience we may gained along the way.
God gets up close and personal in our lives, yet never becomes less high or holy in the process. Jeremy and Matt talk about the importance of contending for a sense of paradox and mystery in our worship.
Sometimes we can tend to focus on worshipping God for the things about Him that are directly helpful to us. But there’s a deeper call - to stand back and worship Him simply for His glory and holiness. In this episode Matt and Jeremy take on this theme - asking how we can adopt a healthy, biblical balance.
In this Q&A special, transatlantic friends Matt and Jeremy invite you into the conversation for the first time - taking comments and questions from worship leaders around the globe.
How do we navigate the ministry of worship music in a time when there’s never been more opportunity to self-celebrate, self-congratulate and self-obsess? In this episode Matt and Jeremy attempt to wrestle down some answers.
Jeremy and Matt dive into the theme of ‘Comfort vs Confrontation’. Often our ‘presence of God’ songs tend to focus on themes such as comfort, affirmation and healing - all wonderful elements of encountering Jesus. But is there perhaps a bigger picture to be seen?
In this debut episode Matt and Jeremy discuss the theme of ‘Encounter vs Entertainment’. Are worship leaders priests or performers? How do we carry our worship into the world, without the world getting into our worship?
The Redman and Riddle podcast is a series of conversations between long-time friends UK worship leader Matt Redman and US worship leader Jeremy Riddle. Starting as coffee-shop chats, Redman and Riddle decided to carry on these discussions in a recorded environment. Each episode takes on a 'this' versus 'that' format – such as 'Encounter vs Entertainment' and 'Holiness vs Helpfulness'. Expect some weighty and challenging conversations as they wrestle with what it means to worship the God who is, “Holy, Holy, Holy”, in a world of, “me, me, me”.
