    Guest, Meat Loaf (Meat), the famous singer and actor Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday, September 27, 1947), better known as Meat Loaf, is an American singer and actor. He is noted for his powerful, wide-ranging voice and theatrical live shows. His Bat Out of Hell trilogy—Bat Out of Hell, Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell, and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose—has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide. More than four decades after its release, the first album still sells an estimated 200,000 copies annually and stayed on the charts for over nine years, making it one of the best-selling albums in history. After the commercial success of Bat Out of Hell and Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell, and earning a Grammy Award for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for the song "I'd Do Anything for Love", Meat Loaf nevertheless experienced some difficulty establishing a steady career within the United States. This did not stop him from becoming one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with worldwide sales of more than 80 million records. The key to this success was his retention of iconic status and popularity in Europe, especially the United Kingdom, where he received the 1994 Brit Award for the best-selling album and single, appeared in the 1997 film Spice World, and ranks 23rd for the number of weeks spent on the UK charts, as of 2006. He ranks 96th on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock". Sometimes credited as Meat Loaf Aday, he has also appeared in over 50 movies and television shows, sometimes as himself or as characters resembling his stage persona. His most notable film roles include Eddie in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), and Robert "Bob" Paulson in Fight Club (1999). His early-stage work included dual roles in the original cast of The Rocky Horror Show, and he was also in the musical Hair, both on- and off-Broadway.

    Groundbreaking singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Todd Rundgren started his career as a guitarist for Nazz, before fronting the band Runt and eventually pursuing a solo career. His first official solo album, Something/Anything (released in 1972 via Warner Bros. Records), stayed on the Billboard 200 for nearly a year and contained some of his most notable hits, including “I Saw the Light” and “Hello, It’s Me.” Todd became one of the most prolific artists of the 70s & 80s, releasing numerous solo albums, as well as critically acclaimed work with his band, Utopia.   Known as a pioneer of music videos, computer software, and internet music delivery, Todd created the first interactive album, organized the first interactive television concert, and founded his own music subscription service. As a songwriter/producer, he’s been behind legendary releases by Badfinger, Grand Funk Railroad, The New York Dolls, and XTC, as well as one of the best-selling albums of all time, Meat Loaf’s Bat Out Of Hell.

    Wir sind im März 1994 angekommen, die Bravo Hits erlebt schon ihre Ausgabe 6. In einer Zeit, in der im Bundestag die Pflegeversicherung beschlossen wurde. In der Gerhard Schröder in Niedersachsen die absolute Mehrheit erzielte. Und "Schindlers Liste" bei der Oscar-Verleihung abräumte. Auch musikalisch war einiges los, was ihr an der neuen Ausgabe der beliebtesten Sampler-Reihe in Deutschland hören könnt.

    Andreas stellt euch heute CD1 vor, die mit "The Sign" von Ace of Base gleich mal einen modernen Klassiker bietet. Wahnsinn, der Song war fast so erfolgreich wie "All That She Wants". Wie es Anfang und Mitte der 90er üblich war, sind natürlich auch hier wieder einige Dance-Edelfedern vertreten. Culture Beat zum Beispiel oder 2 Unlimited. Wie auf die CD1 aber dann "Katzeklo" von Helge Schneider passt, ist noch nicht eruiert.

    Auf der CD2 kommt dann Jenni vor Ort, die über Heinz Rühmann die Nase rümpft, bei "Tag am Meer" von den Fanta 4 nicht die Begeisterung von Andreas teilen kann, dafür aber mit Janet Jackson bei "Again" schwelgt.

    Im letzten Teil vergeben Jenni und Andreas natürlich auch wieder ihre Awards. Welche Songs sind am besten gealtert? Welche am schlechtesten? Und welcher Song hat den unsinnigsten Text? Hört rein!
