Episode 69 - Encyclopedia of Dating : His name was 'Papa bear'

Episode 69 - Encyclopedia of Dating : His name was 'Papa bear'
Ever since I had my first boyfriend at age 19, I always had a 'meet the parents' outfit. A nice simple dress, usually with a flower pattern, white or cream sweater, straight shiny hair, flawless, natural makeup. Do other females do this as well? Do men ever do this? Is meeting the parents a big thing still? The Doc and I discuss our experiences with meeting the parents of significant others, parents that we remember fondly (and some, not so much), how and when we personally decide to introduce someone to our own parents, parental stigma, expectations, cultural and religious preferences... and the truth about why I have never brought a guy home!

And a listener writes to ask the couple to ask if going to the strip club is cheating, while another listener asks if it’s time for him to let the Titty Bars go.

Episode 5 - Meet the Parents

Episode 5 - Meet the Parents

This beloved, zany flick starring Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro milks running jokes more than that male nurse Gaylord Focker milks cats.

This week we wonder how “Meet the Parents” from the year 2000 could be so incredibly popular and loved by everyone, how it’s strangely a remake of a 1992 film, and how its cringe quota rivals many horror films. We also wonder why Focker would continue to put up with such emotional abuse, whether the dad is just romantically interested in his own daughter, if mom is actually being held captive, and who the [BLEEP] keeps cameras in the bathroom?
