    Ep. 045 - Controversial Question

    Ep. 045 - Controversial Question

** This episode talks about pedophilia and mentions rape. Listener discretion is advised**

This topic and episode was really difficult.  Tim brings up the connection of mental health & pedophilia. Then asks a serious question that you may have trouble answering. It's a very tough one, and Tim is curious on how you would answer it.

This episode does have some bright spots, with conversations about taking left turns, to Catch a Predator & the fall out of Ep. 044 - Missing White Woman Syndrome.TRIGGER WARNING

    • https://www.familywatchdog.us/ - Find Sex Offenders in your area.
    • Report Child Sexual Exploitation1-800-843-5678
    • / text HOME to 741741 - Suicide Prevention1-800-273-8255

In regards to this episode. Tim wants it to be crystal clear that he disagrees entirely with the act of sexually abusing children, and believes it is not acceptable. This also goes for physically and mentally hurting children. People who break that law should be punished by the fullest extent of the law.  Tim has no sympathy for adults who don't understand right from wrong.

Interview w/ Toby Pasman of Roscoe's Wetsuit Neuro

Interview w/ Toby Pasman of Roscoe's Wetsuit Neuro

Tim interviews Toby Pasman as they talk about the mind, brain maps & how there are ways to rewire the brain.  Super interesting stuff that was fun to learn!

Toby Pasman is a neurophysiology researcher who graduated from the University of Oregon in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and completed his Master’s of Psychology through Lynn University in 2021. He worked on the Emotions and Neuroplasticity Project at the Brain Development Lab at his university, learning how emotions relate to changes in key brain networks.

Toby got curious about whether he could hack his own brain and began experimenting with neurotechnology including neurofeedback and neurostimulation to work on his own social anxiety. He noticed great improvements in his verbal fluency and ability to stay relaxed in social situations.

Toby began working at a peak performance facility outside of Seattle, Washington, training high profile CEOs, professional athletes, and Hollywood actors, who were looking to maximize their brain performance, recording QEEG brain maps and utilizing neurofeedback and neurostimulation technology.

Toby has since worked in the substance abuse and mental health fields, utilizing QEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback, neurostimulation, and PEMF therapy to treat patients clinically. He trained under Dr. Nicholas Dogris, CEO of Neurofield Neurotherapy, learning extensively about applying various forms of neurostimulation to enhance brain performance.

Toby is currently training to become an accredited human potential coach through the Human Potential Institute.
