    Sonia & I

    Sonia & I

For Sonia & I, it's been a rough road to say the least. Co-dependency, manipulating, and my drug addiction was a recipe for disaster. It made us stronger and brought us together closer than ever. We give some advice to struggling couples that are stuck in a toxic, co-dependent relationship and go into detail on how bad things actually got. Sometimes you need to separate to bring yourselves back together. Best friends/soul mates, Sonia and I break it down for you today on the next episode of Recov hub Podcast!

    Seth

    Seth

When it comes to drinking and drugging, Seth had to learn the hard way that it wasn't the right way to go. After a casual night of partying, he got caught in a scuffle and ended up getting stabbed around a dozen times. He lives to tell the tale today on the next episode of Recov hub Podcast. Please welcome, Seth aka Lil Fitty (Cent)!

    Erica

    Erica

Erica might as well face it, she was addicted to love...and alcohol. In treatment for alcoholism was not the worst of her problems. Deep down there was a need for validation by men (and women, we'll get to that part) and fear of abandonment. Alcohol was just a symptom of the real issue. Today we will try and dissect the difference between co-dependency and love addiction. We'll give it to you straight...ish. Please welcome our next special guest, Erica!

    Mr. Donuts

    Mr. Donuts

From rags to riches and once a prominent member in the rap group G-Unit, Mr. Donuts had a rough life on the streets of New York. But with the success of G-Unit, the lights, fame and fortune, addiction slowly creeped into his life. He had a falling out with 50 Cent because he called Fif a bi**ch. Then he started slangin fire mixtapes out of the trunk of his car on college campuses.  The streets of NY are hard, but its the life he chose. He finally put the mic down to tell his star-studded/ double platinum tale.  None of this is true.  All the way from Long Island, Recov hub Podcast welcomes Joey aka "Bag of Donuts."

    "I love the streets."

Special guest Chris stops by the podcast to tell us his tale. Once upon a time, in the mystical, enchanting land of 8-Mile, Christopher started a promising rap career under the alias "Lil Tanner." He is Eminem's forgotten son and struggled to make a name for himself under the tremendous, blinding, shadow of his father. Papa Mathers said he didn't love him anymore, so he decided to move out west. Finally telling his story, he has gone double platinum on his third studio album titled "Hi, my name is (Christopher not Pisstopher)."  Not really, but he's from Michigan and battled a horrible drug addiction. Ep. 156: Behavioural Addiction

    Ep. 156: Behavioural Addiction

After a series of celebrating our milestone, we are back to continue our normal episodes with mildy researched topics and a little banter, not that it was any different previously. All banter aside, this week, we dive deep into the sensitive topic of behavioural addiction. Srikeit and Naren simblify what behavioural addiction is, the neurochemistry of the brain and how we can help someone suffering from behavioural addiction.

NEW TO SIMBLIFIED? It's an Indian podcast - probably the best to come from Malad West - that takes things that happen around us, and deconstructs them in a language you can understand, often surmounting several puns and PG Wodehouse references along the way. We aim to make you appear smarter during parties, job interviews, and dates.

    Your hosts (and Twitter / Instagram handles) are Chuck (@chuck_gopal / @chuckofalltrades), Srikeit (@srikeit, @srikeit) and Naren (@shenoyn, @shenoynv).

    S02 E09: Mental Health & Kids Pt 2: Teenagers & High School

"As a parent, you should let your child deal with the consequences of academics and pay more attention to their emotions".

This week, Zain and Avanti are joined by educator, Gaya Lobo Gajiwala to talk about the mental health of teenagers & high school kids. In this conversation, Gaya explains that kids should focus more on starting a given task rather than waiting and trying to perfect it. She also talks about how the cliche of 'getting out of your comfort zone' to feel better isn't always the most viable option. Tune in.
